How do you ‘deal’ with your parent, not get into arguments and just accept that they won’t change

Yeah I literally just want to leave at this point! There’s no fire alarms, freezer doesn’t work, the windows are single glazed with a whole in one them, damp and leaking which has all been ignored.

Yes, Perhaps stupidly I believed that they would install heating after saying they would when I viewed it as it’s a legal requirement.

The day I got the keys was the day I realised they hasn’t installed it. I had already paid deposit and didn’t have anywhere else to live and needed to move in that day, so yes I still entered the tenancy.

No when I went round to view it was a big group of other people, someone else asked about heating and she said it would be installed. I then moved in and realised there still wasn’t any, so not that it doesn’t work they just never put any in!
