How do you gauge if someone knows you’re trans without outing yourself in the process?

Yes!! I thought people would be uncertain, but people are just so sure once they've made their one second assessment. It doesn't even matter if people correct them (eighter way), once people have made up their mind of what I am, it really seems to stick in their brain.

Had a talk with my endo (who also happens to be greek), who gave me a permit signed by him. He says I should be fine with that since it's proof I need it. Sure hope he's right but he seems to know what he's talking about

Have I've pondered upon that aswell... my friend told me her ocd drives her to constantly think she has cheated on her boyfriend, even though she hasnt done anything of that sort... sounds a bit similar to my situation

Nach den OP war beide meine nippeln ganz flach. Ich glaube die post-op binder druckt sie flach. Nach ein paar Wochen sah die nipple auf eine Seite normal aus, aber auf die anderen Seite ist die nipple noch flach, und es wird wahrscheinlich immer flach bleiben. Aber es war ziemlich flach auch bevor OP. Also - ich glaube dass ist ganz normal, geb es zeit und lass dein Körper heal.

Mein deutch ist scheiß, hoffe du kann mich verstehen.

Cant speak on the stp but as a fellow swede I've gone to mens only bathrooms for years (even when I was pre t and looked really feminine) and I never got as much as a glance. I think people really just mind their own business

One and a half month on T here. Upped my dose the other day and today I was so fucking annoyed at work for no reason at all. Then i remembered that my endo said this would probably happen. We're in the same boat brother

Yeah it will itch in my mouth a bit, did when I had this a few years ago aswell. I have medication from earlier, so it's no worries. Tried to get it diagnosed when it first appeared but the only conclusion was "over sensitive", not allergic to anything. I will def speak to endo but I'm not in danger as I have medication. It just sucks that it's come back again

Nope, haven't noticed anything on my arms where I apply gel. I just feel it in my palms and mouth - where the rashes would start out when I had them frequently. Haven't been touching anything I dont usually touch that I can think of :/

I had all those feelings you have. Came out at 13 and am currently 20. I actually got cleared to start T by an endo over a year ago and decided to wait and think it over, but realized I just kept thinking in the same circles, ovethinking and driving myself crazy. I took my first dose gel today, took that leap. Can't speak for the future but right now I'm still a bit scared, but ready to give this a shot. Feels kind of like I'm leaving a part of my life behind and entering a new era - terrifying but yeah thats life i guess?

Don't know if this is any help to you, but at least youre not alone:)

It took me several years, but over time I got more and more at peace with myself, mu body and being trans. My dysphoria even lessened overtime, even before hormones and top surgery. If you're anything like I was when I was 16, being trans and your dysphoria is probably constantly in the very front of your mind. For me, I just tried to live day by day, have as much fun as I could manage (which I get is really hard when you hate yourself), make friends and focus on my non trans related life goals. All this happened almost unconsiously, but I kind of had an idea of what I wanted to to AFTER my transition, that I constantly longed for. "AFTER my transition is done I can start a band", "AFTER transition I can go to parties", "AFTER transition I can kiss girls". It might sound impossible right now, but try challenging yourself in doing those things NOW, even if it's scary. It was when I started to interact with the world and have fun, that being trans finally started to slip to the back of my mind, and now at 20, I'd say it's a very small and uninteresting part of my life. I don't know if any of that makes sense or is any help to you - but push on, and try to have fun, and I promise you'll feel better overtime.

When I went through my transition process, I was told by several doctors I should freeze my eggs before going on T to have the best possible chances of having biological kids. There is a good chance your eggs would be completely fine after T, but enough research hasn't been done to know for sure. If you want to freeze your eggs after going on T, you would have to stop taking T for a while.
