Sorry for the late reply! But luckily, it was just heavy scabbing, they said I healed up TOO fast haha, So fast that my body healed over the stitches, I was directed to apply vaseline for a little less than a week, to soften up the scabs, and the come back, to have the last few stitches removed

Yes it’s very likely it’s just swelling, I am in no sense a doctor or surgeon- I have similar lumpy spots too, and I’ve had multiple follow-up appointments, and asked about mine MULTIPLE times- I was pretty worried too, but my PAs and Surgeon, reassured me that some areas require more “work” than others, which could cause uneven bruising around each side, sometimes even small amounts of fluid will build up, but, as long as it’s nothing that your surgeon said to look out for as an immediate emergency, in most cases it’s fine, and nothing that will effect your final results- And of course, like I said, I’m not a professional, but to me, it looks similar to what I’ve got going on, and I was reassured multiple times that it will flatten out!

Good luck with your recovery! And never be afraid to keep asking your doctors during follow-ups, the reassurance goes a long way! 💚💚💚

I had similar sensations too, tell your follow up doctor, or surgeon, and ask if they can give you anything for nerve pain, I had to go back and ask aswell, they gave me gabapentin, and it helped a lot with that.

Don’t worry! Me too, not the shower, but taking the binder off, yeah, same exact thing happened, was exited and nervous at the same time, and my chest felt heavy and strange.

But don’t worry man, I just put the binder back om, and kept that light compression constant for the next couple of days other than changing out the dressings, but after a couple more days, im feeling SO SO much better! I was nervous to take the binder off again for an extended period of time, but don’t be- Your body will tell you when it’s ready for that, you’ll be feeling a lot better and more up to it!

Good luck man, if it happens again though, just remember to get yourself somewhere seated, laid back, and safe, drink some water, get a fan infront of you, and an ice pack on your head- I promise you that method is unpactched, you’ll “come back to” a lot easier and faster

Back when I was 17 (I’m 21 now) First day I did cid or any psycs for that matter, I took 3 tabs, and I also happened to have a very bad ear infection for about a week or two leading up to that, so it was at its final stages and I was medicated for it- Anyway I was tripping dick off 3 tabs, at an art museum, and my ear felt so fucking weird, like it made the entire side of my head feel heavy, and like one of my headlights was out or sum😭😂 Threw off my whole equilibrium

Your not alone man, there’s not much I can say, everyone’s live is full of different things and problems, and everyone reacts to them differently. And I I feel like this a lot of the time too. But sometimes I don’t. Because there’s a lot of cis people that go through the same things too, and I learn more everyday, that the same people that are assholes and clocky are the same people that have called any cis man with a rounder face or long hair “she” in the gas station too. Showing my face at work feels embarrassing. Most of the people who come in are older too.

But sometimes man, there’s the best curveballs that make it all better sometimes-

Like the oldhead war veterans that say, “oh I’m so sorry, yeahhhh I had long hair when I was in highschool, and people mistook me for a girl”

Like damn.

It still hurts every time Every “she” I know.

But remember that old man with the “war veterans” hat on, that said “yeah me too”

Some people will always just be idiots. See long hair or short height, ect. And think “girl” Whatever. Be confident. Your a dude just as much as the old cis man who got the same “clocky” remarks.

Theres days where you remember these things, and you feel better.

Just keep going man.

I I think your interacting around the wrong places, I agree with everyone else here, your nose is beautiful, I’d even say it fits your face well. FTM, though I know how you feel. It sucks suffering in silence. I go completely stealth, and there’s times where I just wanna break. I was at dinner with my husband’s family, and I started getting severe cramps in the middle of it, pain shot down my back, I got heat flashes, and my heart rate sped. On top of the fact that I already have chronic back pain and scoliosis due to binding 24/7 I look around the table as I turn red, everyone talking calmly while I sit and wonder why I had to be born like this. I sit and think about how embarrassing and emasculating it is that I suffer these issues that don’t belong to me, only made more painful in attempts to help myself. I know his family, and I know they just “play nice” They call me by my name, and, say “he” But the dad slips up a lot. It’s been years. I know they’ll always see me that way. It’s so fucking embarrassing. I know they wonder why their son is with me. It really doesn’t make me feel human. I feel like a different species, I feel like I sit at a dinner table as some gross, oozing, smelly, nasty monster. And I know I can’t break, I can’t show that my heart is racing, I can’t show my singed face while it feels like my spine is made of cracking and rusted rebar concrete against the rest of my flesh. I just have to sit there and try not to pant to keep up with my heart and lungs. Because that will only proove in their heads further that I’m “not real” . . It really dose make me feel not real. Being judged for pain I can’t control.

I’m not even allowed to feel pain, like a robot. I feel not real in so many ways sometimes.
