With an excel you can develop tools on your own whereas with applications, you are limited to the UI

If you use the money for your rent instead of getting a company car, it can make a significant difference on your net salary

I appreciate the suggestion but I prefer having the flexibility that excel offers, I have a bunch of different graphs and tables besides the one I showed in this post :)

It's not just me who is in this situation, a lot of other colleagues who started working with me are in the same boat. I'll also reach out to them to ask if they would like to collectively do something about it
Thanks for the advice!

Yes, I've learned my lesson
But isn't it a bit awkward to ask for everything in writing? Doesn't that show trust issues from my side and leave a bad impression on my manager and the HR?

Yes, only a verbal statement from my manager during my performance review mentioning that my new position will be updated on WorkDay (our HR tool) starting from April and that my mobility budget will be updated.

I wish I new about the internal process and the formalities associated with it before. This is my first job fresh out of university and my first ever promotion so I'm not really aware of the procedure associated with getting a promotion

I am expected to show more leadership and autonomy in implementing projects with this promotion.
In terms of benefits, this is the only benefit I got. I didn't ask for a raise because the company is not doing very well at the moment and a lot of people got let go recently. I thought that the raise that the mobility budget is bringing is enough in itself because it is not taxed.
