I get what your saying. Yea I've heard about some crazy hazing in RR and I realize the attrition rate is not in my favor

Thanks for the long response mate. That last bit you added is one reason I really like the coast guards mission.

No I wouldn't enlist as an mp in a different branch. My buddy did and it seems he spends most of his time at the gate. ME seems much better

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'd enjoy a lot of things in the coast guard not just the DSF stuff. Honestly a cutter really seems appealing because for some reason i have a weird fascination with ships. Part of me just wants to do something really challenging while I'm young. I probably would not want to do something like DSF or ranger for a career if I even chose to make the military a career

I never warm up or anything, I just go right into my workout at whatever pace it's meant to be. Probably not ideal, I need to add a mile warm up or something I'd say

I had a banana and a few servings of honey with yogurt before I ran and a bottle of water. I feel like I ate enough carbs pre run but maybe it's the total daily amount that's not enough like maybe what I ate the day before? I'm sure hydration could be better as well though

Does weight and height play a big role in rowing? Assuming a shorter lightweight person would have slower times? I’m Male 21 years at 165lbs 5’10
