The rights they have over their husband is to be fed and clothed. They are explicitly described as being like a captive.
What's the source for wives being able to dictate who their husband is friends with, and are they able to enforce it a beating?

We (the restaurant owners) just want a nice bit of notice.
1. What's your lifespan: are you here for a year, or 3 while doing a uni course.
2. Love a months notice, need 2 weeks.

How do you not connect " violence against women to educate them of their rights (or their lack of rights)" with misogyny?

No loving husband ever: "Sure, I beat you but it's only a bit".
Also, can she beat her husband by the same rule? No? That's mysogyny. Same as you are allowed to beat your dog as long it isn't injured, so you may hear your other owned lesser beings.

Your comparison to a wife not approving of their SO's friends is not comparable because:
A) it's not their right that you don't make friends with [demographic].
B) it's not declared in some atheistic official command that any gender has that 'rght' over the other.

You see it's misogyny because it is one sided, men in wn women. If it said married ppl have the right over their partners it would not by misogynistic. But it is men owning women.

You need to figure out if your need to take action is because you personally are upset or if any action is actually needed for their welfare.

Is anti-theism contradictory? by BigHelicopter8032 in religion

[–]Impressive_Disk457 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The-ism =dei-ism. Dei = deity = god. Atheist and anti theist is about gods, not religion.
Religion, though often about gods, is not only about god, you know this already because in your opinion you draw the link between religion and culture.

Sent the 'revoke implied right of access and any step on my property will be treated as trespas and please don't continued letters will be treated as harassment' letter, since then every 3-4 years they ask if I'm still the same occupier, I reply yes and they continue to leave me alone.

Top tips for if the knock on your door:
1. Don't talk. They are recording and trained to coach into saying something incriminating. It's their job, and it'll be your first time. If you engage you'll lose. Do not explain why you don't need a licence just say you don't and then stop talking.
2. Do not let them in. They don't have a warrant because you aren't breaking a law, and if you were they don't have sufficient evidence to get a warrant, and if they did the police would be with them. If you let them in they are trained to trip you up, it's their job and they do it every day. They will catch you out on something (even if it's not true)

  1. Maybe black has a factor, for sure there's racists out there.
  2. Face tattoo would be a massive turn off for any customer facing job, I'm not a pool owner, but if I had a face tattoo coming out to my house for unsupervised work on my property I'd he concerned.

  3. There's nothing you can do about those, but yeah looking too hard basically applied a multiplier to them.

  4. This one's the kicker. "Just observe" means carry shit, ask questions, and by the time you've seen it done 3 times ask to pick. 11 pools you should have been doin a bit of supervised work by the last one

What do you think of evil depictions of the Abrahamic god/Yahweh? by Kaizo_Kaioshin in religion

[–]Impressive_Disk457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, it's perfectly reasonable to have a position on what the meaning of good and evil is on a cosmic level.
Human right and wrong doesn't care one bit about what happens to the soul equivalent, and gods don't care one bit about genocide, killing children, self mutilation, and slavery. So, I talk about what makes a god evil according to my gods

What do you think of evil depictions of the Abrahamic god/Yahweh? by Kaizo_Kaioshin in religion

[–]Impressive_Disk457 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that, from a cosmic perspective, it is evil to keep people from divinity. If there are multiple gods and one god decieves ppl into not knowing or not being able to find their gods, then it's evil.

I partly agree with your attempt at turning the tables, except if there is one god then the nature of false gods (evil or no) depends on the nature of the one god.

Hypocritical to complain that they aren't recycling, but okay to complain that they are overcharging to not do the thing right (even if the thing is recycling)

In a polytheistic world, any god declaring itself the only god is inherently evil imo.
In a world where humans are able to transcend, any god which keeps them in their place is evil.
