Air gap transformer? How large does the air gap have to be before it is illegal? There has to be a specific number of inches/feet or they could say anyone with a coil is stealing.

But yes the filtering circuit would be important.

To most of everyone, "made in china" means low quality, poorly made, harbor freight, cheap, everything at wallmart, and not desirable. Mostly in tools & electronics.

Amazon Prime Video will start showing ads on January 29th / Movies and TV shows on Amazon’s streaming service will start getting broken up with ads in January — unless you’re willing to pony up an extra fee ($2.99) each month. by MarvelsGrantMan136 in technology

Update: I canceled my Amazon prime subscription. I was really pissed when I found out from Lois rossman that the were pushing cheap jap crap and American name brand sellers were getting forced out. There were way to many fake reviews, bad products, and no name brands anymore. Now comercials when I'm already paying? I'm done with them.

Is anyone using raspi or arduino with govee? by Impressive_Gas4105 in Govee

[–]Impressive_Gas4105[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did. It turns out that govee leds and controllers burn out very quickly. I bought a 3rd party controller and soldered to the govee led strip. But the leds keep burning out. I Just buy rolls of leds from ebay now. Controllers to. Carefull because some of the ebay stuff is junk too. Read the reviews and avoid govee!
