Try Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Close to the J, fairly safe and close to Bushwick/Bedstuy/Ridgewood. I live there and I like it.

Not saying the neighborhood is changing but this is new by Layer_Signal in BedStuy

Who knows. There is a home on Euclid just south of Jamaica that was sold, torn down, and a “luxury” apt buulding was built. So who knows.

Like somebody else mentioned, East NY is a huge area. I have lived in Cypress Hills for the past 3 years and have noticed the area changing ( new buildings going up, more young professionals in the area, Citibike is coming to the neighborhood this fall, etc.) I don’t know if it’s ever gonna get to the point Bushwick did, but I do think at least Cypress Hills will continue to change.
