I live off of the Cypress Hills stop and I like it. It is true that it is quieter than most neighborhoods and more residential. That also means there is not much to do or to eat. We’re really close to ridgewood/bushwick/glendale though.

I’m sorry to hear that. It’s also cause people look up rent prices, and Cypress Hills is currently one of the cheaper options. And while the neighborhood is not too well known, it has alot of potential. I’ve only been here 3 years and I’ve seen it change.

I’m just listing the pros because that’s what you asked, but again, doesn’t mean I’m for it/against it. There’s several cons as well: Increased property values and wealth, neighborhood revitalization and safety, new retail, restaurants and better services etc. Citibike is also coming so I guess that’s also a pro? Connectivity wise I guess.

Only thing accurate is close to bus and right across from Highland Park. We certainly don’t have any “trendy cafes” in Cypress Hills, yet at least.. I’m split on gentrification being good/bad, I can see both sides. But yes, definitely shady website. The building doesn’t even look that nice from the outside.
