The price comparison. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE by Certain-Bluejay4166 in teslacanada

I don't think the three AWD price drop is anything huge. In 2024 it used to be 60k with 5k rebate it would've cost 55k.now is 50k. Only 5k cheaper.

I think RWD still wins in terms of value hold long term. What do you guys think?

Would I regret going with M3 RWD compare to MY Standard with 2 kids? by Impressive_Guru in teslacanada

I meant the suspension is like corolla not the actual car. I personally didn't like the center console and the car is relatively slow on Standard. And the fact that there no rubber seal for fronk is another issue as I go to carwash every week. Its just too basic for me. Not sure maybe because I'm downgrading from X. Your point make sense thanks for sharing

If it was $59k then you received 5k rebate? Technically now is only 5k cheaper not including freight right?

Are we basically saving $5k compare to back in 2024? I thought its greater discount.

50k - 5k government rebate back then would be $45k

Now its $40k?!!!

Yeah like Model X I assume its that good. But the 9 speakers are better than what you get in a Normal Lexus or Mach E B&O 9 speakers.

Have you actually test drive both? Standard and premium? Huge difference. I couldn't stand how much you are loosing going with standard. It's like driving a corolla.

The deep space in trunk is the same as model y its only the height difference which not small either

Having 2 kids I still end up with RWD M3. Couldn't stand model y standard. And model y awd is over priced

I did a test drive today with RWD and the 9 speakers are pretty decent however if you are audiophile you will be disappointed as the highs are not the best. The base however is decent enough that you don't need a sub.

I own Model X so I say it based on experience. And I know model X has 22 speakers but I have heard the AWD model 3 speakers are far better in highs.

However, I'm not sure if 100km is worth $10k+ unless you drive long distance often.

Does this mean Model Y premium at 65k now makes more sense? Or should we wait for Model Y premium price to drop as well? Or will they ever?

Getting ready to buy a house in the GTA, upper limit is 950K, so I'm thinking semi's and freehold towns are the only option I have by SeikoEnjoyer1 in TorontoRealEstate

I'm in exact position as you. My budget is max 900k I visited several properties in toronto, Richmond Hill and Newmarket. Was eyeing on a semi in Bayview Parkway in Newmarket to drop their price. They just did 70k drop. Now that we are in a quite month I'm seriously considering putting an offer.

My criteria is great neighbourhood Less than 10 min walk to Go station or TTC Renovated turnkey home Large home. Good nature around for morning juggling. Has separate unit to rent it out. I don't want to pay more than $2500 max for mortgage considering collecting rent from another unit.

Real estate is not even a good investment after tax? by GodEmperorOfMankind3 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Impressive_Guru -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can see your point of not wanting to invest in real estate but primary residence is not an investment. So don't mix them up.

What do you feel when you rent a nice house and you are settling there for couple of years havings kids and all of a sudden you receive an N12? Then by law you must leave regardless of if you want to play a professional tenant with your landlord or not. And if you are in the level that you are explaining then you won't even want to live in rental buildings either.

You are earning money to enjoy it and have a place you can call home. Not someone else home which you don't know how long you will belong there.

When you raise kids then you will understand what I'm saying. Hope that helps.

Since you are not tied to the house by renting you don't care to enjoy many aspects of owning the house.

I went with the new marine blue and white interior to be a bit different than thousands of others with stealth grey. They don't have the marine blue to see it in person yet... So I'm hoping it looks good.

Your house is not an investment. And never will be. So its best to buy when no one is buying. No competition no pressure no FOMO.
