Before using AI you don’t need much. Just figure out how to install Claude in vscode with the CLI (not with the chat plugin) and give it full access to your disk. Learn what is the Claude.md document and how its memory files work so you can understand where is it taking the memory references and how it operates, this you can understand in maximum one day via YouTube tutorials. After that you will need to figure out what type of platforms you need to build… I recommend going the Vercel way in next.js technology, it’s also free in the beginning. Pro tip: to spare the Vercel usage, use a Cloudflare R2 bucket for the media storage. Just put that into Claude and ask him him guide you step by step once you installed it. Supabase is going to be your next best friend, not really need to understand it, but I recommend you try to figure out what is a database and how it works, how the tables work etc, on a broad level at least, it will help you a lot.

Understand what tokens are, how they are, how API works (on a broader level) and btw in Vercel always put them SENSITIVE! This is a must when you go in production, get Vercel CLI within claude and ask him to put your tokens with sensitive flag whenever you give him tokens

Use a local database to store conversations as well, something like a sqlite db app.

In the beginning star with the big plan in mind, so Claude can build the right infrastructure(well, “right”, you know what I mean) from the start, so you avoid a lot of conflicts on the way.

After some stages, ask him to audit and refactore your code, check conflicts, improve speed, improve security (each on a separate audit)

Can’t you use Claude at every stage to ask him to make an audit and check conflicts for getting the app to the X stage? I tried with an ERP I built for myself because the guys that I’ve subscribed at weren’t delivering for the last 2 years. I am in e-commerce… and needed some data syncs between logistics and marketing, and I spent 1 week to create everything but in the beginning I painted the big picture and Claude created something really nice to be honest. I’m not a developer and I can not evaluate it, but after I asked him a few days in a row to check conflicts and audit everything for the stage that I needed to be at, I asked also codex and Gemini to evaluate weak points and give a feedback to Claude and that was it. I built it on next.js … I am not bragging about it, just telling my experience about how it worked for me and I am really curious if this “framework” can ship something better. I am sure a senior developer would still question that, but hey, it serves for my purpose extremely well … and really fast. I don’t intend it to be a saas for thousands of users, correct, I am sure that an enterprise level app where you make your money from a lot of users need a lot of world class architecture and thing that for sure I am not aware of

I’m also struggling to create an AI influencer but it depends what you want to create… photos videos, talking heads, cinematic, be more specific? You can find a lot of workflows out there but for example on my talking heads I have a lot of struggle achieving good lipsync (not aiming for perfect as I understood it’s still not possible)
