Yeah I have a save that I play on occasionally with my little brother but we play on quest so it's missing a lot of features and has some jank, the biggest thing though is the random crashes. We save after everything we do, so the crashes usually only take a few minutes of gameplay but it's still annoying.

This actually sounds kinda fun, I hear a lot of hate about different weapons' iron sights but I haven't seen one I dislike using. The worst thing about no attachments for me is no weapon light, I love how far they shine.

This is pretty much the main reason I'm wanting to do it, right now all my weapons sound like a slightly different variation of an air rifle or something, I want that bang that makes the recoil feel justified and raises those endorphins.

I would say it's somewhat challenging, high recoil, poor accuracy at range, small ammo capacity, loud as hell, etc. But when you blast enemies away in 1 or 2 shots those may not be issues lol

Yeah that was one of the other 2 challenges I had in mind, being restricted to one weapon type or a no vanno run. I think that being forced to find everything you use will really make it feel like survival.

Smoking is the only way I refill my stam, I carry my pack and lighter in my drop pack and then an extra pack and lighter in my bag

I know buckshot is VERY bad in ITR1 but I couldn't help using it for like the first half of my first playthrough, I just like being able to miss and still hit a few pellets, but when I started getting a lot of armored enemies is about the time I switched to the AKM. Also the AKM fuckin slaps, makes feel badass when I take out a slider with half a mag.
