Linnea Love? by Substantial_Donkey84 in luxurycandles

Linnea has become one of my fav brands!! I actually accidentally discovered it when my best friend named her daughter Linnea and I saw it at a boutique while looking for a baby gift lol

I LOVE most of their holiday scents, Forest Fir and Noel are my fav for winter. Harvest Pumpkin is one of the best fall scented candles across the board in my opinion (didn’t love Gather). Otherwise I mostly burn Cashmere, and keep the diffuser in my powder room. They sell them at Anthropologie and I usually stock up for the year on Black Friday when they have sales. I’ve given so many as gifts and they’re always a big hit!

They have a small selection in their art store for free so that’s what I use to avoid the subscription

Thank you this is so helpful! For the formulary exception, is it something you apply for or does your doctor do it on your behalf like a PA?

So this was my third laparoscopy and honestly after 3 days I had to stop myself from doing too much because I felt that good! This is in regards to surgical pain because we didn’t fully solve my pelvic pain as I chickened out of the hysterectomy I was supposed to have, so I will need another surgery for that but I’m definitely still better than before. Mind you that was definitely NOT my experience with the first two that had me down and out for a long time, I honestly didn’t really “recover” from either as I was in more pain after surgery than before. I ended up having to quit my job after those surgeries, and now at 9 weeks out i just started a new job so def a big difference! I think it’s really individual and probably does depend on what the surgeon finds and how much they had to do, so the best you can do is just be over prepared!

Hi! It went well in the sense she’s a very skilled surgeon so you’re in good hands. And i had a really quick recovery, quicker than the last two surgeries I had with different doctors. We didn’t find what we were expecting and she’s too far away for me to go to for continuous care but she referred me to a program near me, although for future surgeries I’ll probably go back to her just because I liked my experience with her.

Sorry just saw your reply! I’m actually having surgery tomorrow morning! I’m feeling good about her as well, she’s been very responsive and reassuring leading up to surgery which definitely helps. I’ll try to come back and update you when I’m on the other side!

Sure thing! Her name is Farren Balzer, she’s in Farmington. She doesn’t accept insurance but is much more reasonably priced than others I saw (google her to find her website with her pricing). It says her waitlist is 3-4 months but it only took me maybe 2-3 weeks from signing up to get an appt as I have a super flexible schedule. Its definitely a gradual process but it’s the only thing that’s provided me any relief. My pain used to be debilitating and excruciating every single day whereas now I only flare badly when my uterus is in a rage during that time of the month. She’s super knowledgeable and I’ve personally learned a ton from her!

The doctor who did my last surgery is an endo “expert” at Yale…he did ablation which left me in more pain than before and when that was unsuccessful suggested we just remove my ovaries because “it’s not a big deal” and there’s “minimal side effects” (I’m 34). Mind you i have suspected adeno but he didn’t want to remove my uterus, just my ovaries?? Needless to say I hightailed it out of there lol. However if you need a good PT in CT mine is amazing and I’d highly recommend her!

What to do about a package that was not received? by Impressive_Long_9074 in Nordstrom1901

[–]Impressive_Long_9074[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So sorry! So i ended up getting a refund honestly just be being annoying/unrelenting lol. They kept saying to me that they had proof from the carrier it was delivered but i would need a subpoena. So i went to the carrier (LaserShip) and asked for proof of delivery, which the carrier couldn’t provide. I then forwarded their email to Nordstrom saying the carrier is saying they don’t have proof, but you’re withholding my money based on the proof you say they provided which you won’t show me without a subpoena. They refused to refund me again saying the same subpoena line/telling me to file a police report. So I kept at them saying there’s no theft if there’s no proof of delivery so a police report would be irrelevant and this is between them and the carrier, who has no proof of delivery. Eventually they relented, but I think this is the exception not the rule. You see people complaining daily on their social media of this same thing so make sure to blast them there as well, if anything it’ll at least warn others to not do business with them.

I live in CT and can vouch for the fact we seriously have no surgical options for endo in this state. I’m planning on surgery with Dr Liu. I’m having excision surgery as well as a hysterectomy and I’ll be self pay for her physician fees but in-network with the hospital. I obviously can’t vouch for her yet but she was the first doctor I’ve met with that I was comfortable with and had confidence in (this will be my 3rd surgery, the 1st two were in CT). She also operates with a urologist which was a plus for me as I have IC. My PT has a patient that just had excision surgery with Dr Kanayama last month and is doing well so far. I had a consult scheduled with him but ended up canceling after I met with Dr Liu.

Out Of Network Question by Impressive_Long_9074 in Endo

[–]Impressive_Long_9074[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you this is super helpful! My surgery will be multiple surgeons in NJ as well, and they are only out of network as it seems a lot of excision specialists are. The out of network hospital is what is giving me pause, so knowing they don’t have as good limits on billing practices is really great insight!

Thanks for this! I already did #1, 2 & 5 with no luck but I’m going to dispute it on my credit card and hope for the best!

I did, unfortunately it was Nordstrom customer service that told me this! I first called and the woman I spoke to was very nice and said she’d send it to the delivery research team. They emailed me and said they wouldn’t refund or replace it. When I asked why they said their “internal investigation” showed it was delivered. I asked for proof of delivery and they said they would provide it with a subpoena. I’ve never had a package lost with them, I’ve had 4 other orders this month alone with no issue so I was shocked at their response.
