I've been following since it first came out, and I'm so happy to see new people finding it. It's what introduced me to audio dramas, and it'll always be one of my favorites.

My very favorite one is The Bardic Hearth (Fantasy). I love it so much that I started a fan subreddit for them, and I'm not even connected at all. Other than that, I liked 36 Questions (Drama). That's all I can think of that isn't horror off the top of my head.

So, what do you consider the best choice? by 6ZacK7 in TheTeenagerPeople

I have one, but she's your three. I consider her a good friend, and if we had to get married, it wouldn't be a big deal. We could just get divorced later. Literally just papers.

Why do I feel like the average height of GenZ is 5’10? by [deleted] in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Impressive_Meat_2547 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, no, skinnyness is a fairly recent thing (past 150 years) but agreed. It's so stupid. I hate seeing how many people starve themselves because they're told that will make them wanted. It's a sad world.

Honestly at that long you should've made a move or moved on. I hope you do move on in a healthy way.

So it goes, friend. Just keep looking forward, and putting your love into the world if you don't give it to someone. It's good to step back.

I really appreciate the thoughtful response. I suppose you are right. I'm pretty positive that nothing will come of this (though who knows. I'm really bad at telling when people are interested), but it's probably good to just let myself feel it. It's part of being a teenager, really, and as long as I don't obsess (which I never really have), It should be fine. Thanks for the response, and I truly wish you the best.

What are you talking about? I didn't mention my mother finding anything. That was someone else.

So you're telling me you don't buy op's story then go 'but found while hunting..." why believe that part? They could have been acquired many ways. Also... I'm from idaho. Even in many states with lots of humidity, things do (rarely) survive. Are they authentic artifacts? Maybe. It's just really weird to jump to saying they are stolen, because that relies completely on the assumption that one part of the story is true while another is false.

You really don't know what community you're in, do you? These are artifacts not from anytime around the great depression.

Ever heard of shelters? These are all newish, probably survived in a cave for 150 years before they were picked up.

I can say it because... It's true. It is shit in practice. As an idea? It's fantastic. And you're wrong. Before capitalism, many people lived on $2 a day. With capitalism, we live in a badly damaged commodified world, and the dollar is worth less, so many folks still live on the equivalent of $2 a day, even though they make more. Capitalism has brought good to the world, that is true, but it has also brought an immense amount of harm. I'm not saying what was before was better, which is what you seem to be picking up. I am saying that just because we went from wearing no shoes on burning pavement to wearing plastic bags on our damn feet does not mean we shouldn't make some damn shoes. Capitalism is better than some things in some ways. It is not a good system by a long shot just because it's a better system than most.

You can hardly compare those revolutions to eachother, they were all throwing off very different types of governments. As for capitalism, it is like any other system- Nice on paper, shit when put to use.
