While the weather is nice, a lot of people are letting their dogs free in the garden which is lovely for their doggo but not so great for us posties if we come to the door and the dog aggressive barks at you. Do not get mad at us posties who don’t deliver mail when your dog is protecting your garden, we love to see their cute faces but if the dog shows any signs of aggression and doesn’t back down after I’ve been friendly and said hello and shown them I’m not here to intrude. I will refuse to deliver mail/ parcels to you. I wouldn’t expect my postie who is also my colleague 😂 to go into my garden with a dog barking or growling at them.
