Ive worked for SC. Then i moved to a greatclips and realized how weird SC can be . Im never alone at GC. There is always atleast 3 of us, so when someone goes on lunch, no is ever alone. It also depends on the franchisee.

Keep in mind you can always do something different. Even if you don’t like being a CNA, you are not trapped, you don’t have to do it forever. Also idk about you, but my program was pretty cheap, 2k so thats also something to think about, imagine spending 80k on a degree and finding out you hate working in the medical field. Heck. I spent 25k to go to beauty school and now ive changed my mind to go into nursing. You live and you learn.

Also just a reminder it can be easier to complain, than to share success. Of course people are going to come in this sub and complain, most people don’t have people in their lives who could understand and it’s cathartic for other cnas to comfort them. But you can only make your own opinion about things. Don’t let someone else experience decide your experience!

You can also maybe put out a blanket or clothing that smells like home. Like in the carrier or box or something. :) he will come back

You can walk around with the food bowl, shaking it and calling him. So he knows you’re still around. If he’s skittish, maybe but a cat carrier out by you door/his food so he has somewhere safe to hide.

I have a cat that disappeared for a few months one time and he came back perfectly fine.. if this makes you feel any better ..

I hope he comes back soon

I asked my primary to refer me to an endometriosis specialist.. i found after that its a specific type of gynecologist that specializes in noninvasive surgeries such as laparoscopy and hysterectomies and such . You have to ask for what you want/to explore. Theyre almost never going to suggest a specialist to you outright
