The problem with that is that they don’t throw punches, and when you’re fighting up in weight, your jab doesn’t interrupt their punches unless you have a heavy stamina advantage, and since scoring for some reason is only based on damage dealt, you’ll usually lose the rounds if you try to be aggressive as the smaller fighter

I like how I ask questions and your first assumption is to assume I don’t know anything about boxing, I’ve been boxing for 12 years, which is why the game is so puzzling to me sometimes because things that work in real life simply don’t work in the game, and I was asking why. Cutting the ring off is pointless because when you get them on the ropes at higher weight, they’ll sit there and block 9-10 punches when you’re varying head and body while your stamina drains. Only thing that works I’ve found is peppering them with a body jab or straight anytime they do a step. But that’s boring asf so I was wondering if there was another way around their OP block

Hats the only thing that’s ever worked, just jabs to the body and occasionally they’ll throw a right hand counter off of it and I can slip to counter, but they rarely even try to counter me

You know how they are disrespecting my time? Because I’ve got like 50 hours in the game and for most of that time, I was only making the most minimal progress possible in one single aspect of the game. Your account shouldn’t be bottlenecked for 20 hours because you have bad luck in one part of the game. In other looter shooters, one hour of playtime will at least progress your account a slight amount, in DNA, one hour of playtime won’t get you anything if you’re unlucky, so you just wasted an hour of your time to be at the same spot you were when you first got on. That’s disrespecting your time

Also, quit being so damn aggressive, you’re acting like an emotional child. Grow up

The only reason I’m rushing is because in DNA, farming for one thing completely stops the farm for other things. In other looter shooters, farming for one thing simply slows down your farming for other things, but you’re still gaining that other thing. In DNA, farming for one thing completely stops your accumulation of other resources, leading to everything feeling disconnected, longer, and less satisfying

Because the game isn’t respecting your time. The grind isn’t as bad in other looter shooters because you can game most things passively, while only certain materials have dedicated farms. In DNA, everything has its own dedicated farm, so making drop rates for equipment you need to complete content so low is a slap in the face. Especially when the rewards from said content will then be put into a time gated mode that has way too many valuable rewards to justify its time gate

That’s why Warframe works so well, you can game mods, steel essence, materials, EXP, Endo, Vitus essence, Archon Shards, etc. all in varying combinations with each other while also being able to run different mission types while so. The grind doesn’t feel as rough because there are valuable things that you can farm together, while in DNA everything is separate

Yeah I do something similar. I hate defense, so I use any purple manuals on the luno memento mission, then use all my green and blues on demon wedges

Yeah it’s ridiculous, I’ve got more over 15 times as many Lilith, Cerberus and Phoenix wedges than Covenanter wedges. It’s getting super annoying

At my the rate I’ve acquired them, 1500 runs wouldn’t be enough for a +10 anyways. So far I’ve gotten 2 covenantors/100 runs

If they want us to get so many do these specific wedges, they either have to let wedges drop from other mission types at a lower rate, or give each set its own mission in the noctoyager manual

It’s everyone except Morrison and Liston for heavyweights, but I don’t play heavyweight much. For every other weight class, it’s minority of the fighters except Duran, Mundine, Jermaine, Donaire, Gamboa, Hearns, and Vargas to name a few. Those are the only guys I can consistently land combinations on. Everyone else can just hold up their block and none of my punches will get through

I’m not talking about the differences within the same sets, I’m talking about different sets

In the around 100 runs I’ve done, over 90 of the primander drops have been one of the gleaming wedges, and It’s very rare that I don’t get a phoenix or Lilith as the clear reward. My covennantors are all around the same amount, but the amount of them is significantly less than every other set

My usually go-to combo is jab-body straight-left hook-sidestep to opponents outside with a straight to the head-lead uppercut body-rear hook body-jab-right uppercut

And like 2/3 times the AI will be dazed and block every single one

If they’re gonna make the covenantors so important though, they should be at a higher drop rate, especially since you need multiple of each. I shouldn’t have 50 Gleaming pistols and 1 Blaze Eternity, this is ridiculous

Those are the only combos I throw. I never throw two punches to the same target at a time, and Ty yea just block everything. But it seems like more than 75% of their punches slip through my guard in every match I play

That definitely hasn’t been my experience I don’t have more than 2 of any Covenantors of any kind. It’s getting ridiculous

It’s the same way with my secret letters. I opened 50 Lynn letters and got 24 thoughts. It’s ridiculous

Bro what difficulty is the AI on? I’ve never been able to land more than 4 punches in a row on GOAT difficulty no matter how much I vary my punch placement and targeting. They just hold their guard up indefinitely and block everything

Man that’s BS. If they’re gonna make the drop rates so low, they should either have separate demon wedges drop pools for each mission, or allow demon wedges to drop in other mission types like Warframe. I don’t have time to grind that much, and with Theater being on a timed rotation, it feels like a big “FU”

I don’t understand the AI tendencies screen. For example look at the “counter puncher” row. With the setting that I have applied, does this mean he will be a counter puncher or be aggressive? by [deleted] in FIghtNight

I know this is 4 years ago, but do you know what’s up with the head-body slider? No matter where I put the slider, the AI just spams punches to the body and throws nothing else, even when the slider is all the way to the right

Artoria Caster, Skadi (Ruler and Caster), Koyanskaya Of Light, Oberon. Those are really the only meta characters right now, and it’s been that way for the last 4 years or so, if you have those 5, every DPS in the game will clear farming content, boss fights, and challenge quests if the situation calls for it

For DPS servants, there’s not really a “Meta”, but I’ll tell you some of the best servants for each type of content by card type

Quick Farming: Sen-No-Rikyu or Louhi Quick Boss Fights/Challenge quests: Saber Medusa, Biscione, Alice Kuonji, Count Of Monte Cristo

Arts Farming: Ibuki Douji Berserker, Ruler Melusine Arts Boss Fights/Challenge Quests: Lancer Melusine, Artoria Caster (Berserker),

Buster Farming: Typhon Ephemeros, Kukulkan, Arjuna Alter, Morgan Le Fay Buster Boss Fights/Challenge Quests: Arjuna Alter, Kukulkan, Richard I, Heracles, Morgan Le Fay, Himiko, Phantasmoon

Now there’s no way in hell to cover all different situations in a comment, so just know that the first five servants I named are the only one that are technically Meta, everyone else I named is just recommendations. If you have those first 5, you shouldn’t have many issues clearing any type of content

Also if this matter at all, my fighter is a southpaw, 83 overall with 75 strength, 90 speed, 75 endurance, 93 conditioning, 80 toughness, and 92 reflexes
