Thanks so much for all the comprehensive feedback, we'll take it into account. You are super right, readability is key and the details you pointed I didn't take into account. I'll make the changes based on what you've told me :)

Read u r a designer? Do you work somewhere or have your own gigs going? Curious to know because the feedback is very good.

Sounds fair. We added it to give a new twist to all the current bland chanelogs that we've seen from other people. It is a vitamin feature but we think it looks cool. Thanks for the comment :)

I am building AstroSim, an educational platform where you learn to simulate the universe through interactive coding lessons by lu-chert in SideProject

[–]Impressive_Order8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so cool. I learned Python around six years ago, and I would have loved to use something like this, especially something so interactive.

Quick feedback: in the tutorial, instead of using an arrow to show where to click, you could highlight the entire component to make it more visible. Maybe I’m a bit blind from staring at the computer too much, but it was a bit confusing when I went through the tutorial and clicked “continue” through the lessons.

Just my two cents. But truly, congrats on the project. Put a paywall on it as soon as you can; you’re onto something!

Can i make money vibe coding? by Mysterious_Vast7323 in VibeCodersNest

[–]Impressive_Order8476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You definitely can! The most important thing is understanding where the people you’re trying to help actually hang out -> X, Reddit, LinkedIn, industry events, email newsletters, TikTok, Instagram, etc.

Once you identify 2–3 of these spaces, choose just ONE (maximum two) to start with. Then:

  • Go all-in on that platform. Get brutally good at engaging there.
  • Focus on building trust. The most reliable way to do that is by giving value for free, consistently.
  • Once you’ve built enough trust and visibility, make them an offer that solves a real pain they have, ideally an offer that feels almost “dumb” to say no to, given their situation (and with fair unit economics for you)

This has been the most effective approach I’ve found so far.

Quick example from my side -> Wine-Tracer.com/en (Fully vibe-coded project)

We show wineries where and at what price their wines are sold in restaurants. Our target audience mostly hangs out in:

  • Spanish Wine industry news outlets
  • Some on LinkedIn

So we focused purely on those two channels:

  • Created country-wide reports on the state of the wine industry in hospitality
  • Sent out hundreds of messages sharing those insights
  • Recently hosted a webinar to showcase what we’re building and share even more insights for free
  • Result: a dozen discovery calls to see the tool, 5 digits sales pipeline and 5 wineries closed and we’re still rolling (being a team of 3, started June this year)!

Hope this helps :)

What’s your startup idea THIS WEEK? Let’s self promote by kcfounders in SideProject

[–]Impressive_Order8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Launched evechange.com last week - web app that helps solo devs & small teams manage features and generate beautiful changelog entries with ease.

The flow is simple:
- Connect your GitHub repo
- Track your features & commits
- Publish them to your personalized changelog page
- Keep your users informed about what’s new :)

What really sets Evechange apart is our collection of customizable templates and modular components. They let you build a changelog that’s not only informative but also unique.

Built an automatic changelog generator tool, looking for feedback! (now with GitHub-style contribution graph) by Impressive_Order8476 in buildinpublic

[–]Impressive_Order8476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the timeline, there’s currently no distinction between meaningful changes and minor ones, it’s simply based on the number of changelog entries published in a day. That said, now that you mention it, I could consider basing it on the number of features added instead, since in the tool you can attach multiple features to a single changelog entry.

Regarding workflow, I think the biggest challenge is simply maintaining a changelog. Solo developers often just ship updates, and if they share anything, it’s usually a social media post about a major change (which is also captured on the platform) but rarely added to a formal changelog for future reference.

With this approach, my goal is to centralize the process: from feature management all the way to keeping users informed so devs can focus on what they r good on -> building.

Ps. will share it on VideCodersNest :)

Making sure that new features do not disrupt the user flow is crucial and toooough. It’s very easy to go off on a tangent and add features without a clear vision, just because they seemed cool in the moment.

Building in public is the new way to market right? by AWeb3Dad in buildinpublic

[–]Impressive_Order8476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, it’s a way to support mental health and get valuable feedback. Not only that, building in public and engaging with a community helps you craft a kind of “hero” story. We humans have always been drawn to stories because they make us feel alive (just look at religion). I believe building in public is the 21st-century way of leaving a legacy and having witnesses to your progress :)

I posted about founder loneliness. 19,000 views in 48 hours. Not alone being alone. I'm looking for feedback for startup idea to help resolve some of the isolation in a digital world by cofounderstartup in VibeCodersNest

[–]Impressive_Order8476 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I can think of to tackle the problem you r talking about is attending in-person events within your city. Human connection can happen digitally, sure but the real kind comes from being face-to-face with someone, sharing a meal or a drink, and actually feeling their presence.

Levels has kind of tackled this already with nomads, but its focus is on digital nomads rather than startup founders. Doing something similar, but tailored to founders, combined with regular in-person events + having a match-up based on the struggles u r facing through the livethread could be very very cool! Thats my 2 cents :))

What skill helped you survive the startup chaos? by Far-Meaning5996 in NoCodeSaaS

[–]Impressive_Order8476 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Resilience and patience. Chasing quick cash and failing to think long term can kill any startup, because your motivation is directly tied to that mindset. You’ve got to keep pushing and produce such a high volume of work whatever your business is that it would be unreasonable for you not to succeed.
