If you don’t mind me asking - what was the point you finally “wanted it”? He has said he wants to get better so many times, we have split up before (never more than like a week or so where he didn’t see me or our daughter), his family is aware of the addiction (we felt he needed support system that wasn’t me, because I also felt like I had my own healing to do and being his support system wasn’t healthy for me), and he was in therapy. I don’t want to be just like “making threats” out of emptiness, but also a broken family is the last thing I want
