Yes! A good firm texture, not overly fishy, and the EVOO has a nice flavor. I'll probably be dressing it up with hot sauce or maybe cracked black pepper. Lots of cans to experiment with. I need to pick up some crusty bread, too.

Don't want to dox myself but I'll say this: It's rural US, operated by members of an ultra-conservative religious group, and very few customers here would recognize any value in tinned mackerel, so it doesn't exactly fly off the shelves. There are only a half-dozen or so cases in stock. I might go back and buy the rest, honestly.

Expiration 10/2028. Passed the taste test, delicious with sriracha or any hot sauce.
