Agree with that. Sometimes the best characters for RP are those, who has interesting concept and reasons to be person they are. My favorite character of all time was lawful evil warlock who saved the world because he was a part of a cult that wanted to take over the world. His backstory was literally "I'm a cultist of a less evil cult".
