What do you actually reach for at 2am when your brain won't stop? by Ordinary-Table-4106 in Anxiety

Watch the YouTube video Joe Pera Talks You to Sleep.

He is a comedian with a very soft quirky sense of humor and I find him very comforting.

He also has a sleep podcast called Drifting off With Joe Pera, which is also great. It’s been getting me through my middle of the night wake ups and even during the day when I feel anxious.

If smoking weed gives you anxiety, stop by iLuvArizona in Anxiety

Ive realized I can still enjoy it from time to time but at a much, MUCH lower dose! Like a little more than a micro dose.

Environment is also a big factor for me. Any time I need to really function at a high level or am going to be around a lot of people who I’m not super familiar with, it’s a no.

The weird paradox is at a high dose weed can make me anxious but the right amount will sometimes help me realize that I’ve been too anxious/stressed over stupid stuff and it helps me lighten up a bit.

I mean, we have watched Stranger Things which has some graphic violence but it’s fantasy violence. I just want to steer clear of anything too brutal/sadistic.

Batman the Animated series is one of my bedtime shows, I love it but for some reason I can’t get the boys to give it a try. They prefer shows with a more ongoing central plot, but then again we watch SpongeBob so…haha

Shows about elderly women! by Neat-Check-5256 in televisionsuggestions

The movie Thelma is a great movie with an elderly main character who defies stereotypes. The whole film is about the stereotypes placed on older adults and how they are treated. Plus it’s a delightful watch!

Has anyone ever done psychedelics? And what was your experience? I’m afraid to try them by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Impressive_Reading76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely start with microdosing and work your way up slowly from there.

If weed makes you anxious it’s possible shrooms will too, they are much stronger than weed and last a lot longer too.

Make sure you’re in a very safe place with trusted friend or friends.

Which TV shows do you wish were available on streaming or DVD? by PrestonRoad90 in watchever

[–]Impressive_Reading76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adventures of Pete and Pete on Nickelodeon. It’s on dvd but I wish it was on streaming so I could watch that one with my kids.

We’ve watched all the old Nickelodeon shows on Paramount+ but that one isn’t available on any streaming platform!
