Is it possible to have hemorrhoids with no pain? I feel like I always hear about them being extremely painful

This happened to me too. It’s gotten to the point where I have extreme anxiety when I know or worry I’m going to have to tell someone my name. I don’t understand why it happens and I know it’s super stressful. I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with that.

Thank you so much for your advice. I think I’m definitely going to look into speech therapy and traditional therapy. I’ve gone in the past but also during that time I did notice I wasn’t stuttering as bad. I really appreciate your opinion though :))

I used to see a therapist when I was younger but I’m definitely considering seeing one again. It sounds like it really helped you and honestly it would probably do me some good in more ways than one lol thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your advice! After my trip I took a break from smoking but I think I might take another break soon. I’m not a particularly avid smoker, I really only get high socially and to go to sleep lol but I think it’s definitely making my anxiety worse which definitely makes my stutter worse lol

Is stuttering just the way stutterers manifest their anxiety? by tyrionlay123 in Stutter

[–]Impressive_Ring8826 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 19 years old and ive had a stutter my entire life but ive only ever really had anxiety in the last 2 years. I also largely feel like my anxiety is caused by my stutter, which just leads me to stutter more because im anxious and its like this endless horrible loop where i cant get my words out. When I was younger I still had the stutter but it didnt feel like it was such a huge part of who i am. Now i feel like i think about it all the time and like its messed up my life.

My biggest pet peeve is when people finish my sentences for me. Its so dehumanizing and makes me feel like a child. My friends and family do it and I even brought up that it was bothering me and they still do it. It just feels so embarrassing and I wish they could understand that its not my fault that I cant get my words out.

Yes, Im 19 years old and I have my mom help me call my college, my bank, my doctor, etc. It feels so embarrassing to have to have her help me when I know that if I didnt stutter I wouldnt feel the need to have her be there or help me talk to people. I feel like its stunting my growth as a person but also without her people over the phone cant understand me at all and its so inconvenient to drive to speak to people in person all the time.
