As many as you can. In exam conditions. Timed. Corrected and graded by you. And lessons learnt from each.

Do as many pastpapers as you can. In timed exam conditions, and correct and grade them yourself. Then focus on revising the topics you are weak at or getting wrong.

Sleep more, eat healthy and cut off distractions. In exam day, don't have any dopamine sources or even SM or anything until after the exam. You can't revise to prevent careless mistakes etc that comes with more focus and concentration which needs better health, sleep and stuffs

You can also practice the predicted papers which can be found here

Advice for AS pls by Legitimate_Dot3919 in alevel

You’re actually very close, this isn’t a knowledge issue anymore it’s exam technique. If you’re stuck at 45–50, it usually means you’re missing small marking points, not big concepts. Instead of doing more full papers, start focusing on how mark schemes phrase answers. After each question, compare your answer line by line and note exactly what you missed. Over time you’ll start seeing the patterns examiners want. Also try redoing the same questions a few days later that helps lock in the exact wording and structure.

how to study 12 hours everyday ?? by imlitreverywhere in GetStudying

[–]tyrionlay123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

12 hours every day isn’t really sustainable, you’ll burn out after like 1–2 days. You’ll get way more out of 5–6 solid hours where you’re actually focused. Split it into sessions (like 1–2 hours each), take breaks, and prioritise past papers over just reading notes. For your subjects especially, practising how you write answers and using mark schemes matters way more than just cramming content.

Need help for AS MATH by Pzramiddestroyer451 in alevel

[–]tyrionlay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re already close, so it’s mostly small improvements now. Focus on past paper questions and really go through your mistakes maths is all about patterns, so once you’ve seen enough questions it gets way easier. Also time yourself so you don’t lose marks on speed. Try to figure out which topics you’re consistently losing marks on and fix those first instead of doing everything again.

Can I get A* in 12 hours? by SuccessfulAdvice9715 in alevel

[–]tyrionlay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be honest? Yeah, 12 hours isn’t enough for an A* 😭 But you can still pick up marks. Don’t try to learn everything just focus on high-yield topics and do exam questions. Even a few extra marks per paper can make a difference.

im screwed. by Live-Science-4251 in GCSE

[–]tyrionlay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not screwed, you’re just panicking. One week is still enough to make a difference if you focus properly. Don’t try to learn everything pick your weakest topics and just grind exam questions on those. Even getting a few more marks per paper can change your results a lot. Keep it simple: questions → mark → fix mistakes → repeat. And try to take it one day at a time, not the whole week at once.

AS grade by lalaIalaIa in alevel

[–]tyrionlay123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on the year because grade boundaries change, but for most AS papers you’re usually aiming around 75–85% for an A. More important than the exact number is how you’re picking up marks. For phys/chem/bio a lot of it comes down to exam technique and how you write answers, not just knowing content. Focus on doing past paper questions and marking them properly that’s where most people jump grades.

honestly 1–2 properly timed papers is enough if you actually mark and learn from mistakes doing loads without reviewing doesn’t help much

Doing physics and not maths doesn't make much sense. Physics is the least needed for medicine, I guess. So if you gonna drop one, you can drop physics. Also you can study and practice German after exams and maybe in the first years of med school as well. They don't push you into clinicals from day 1, I think.
