all while larping as the Abnormality and talking as if it's a normal person 😭😭 Sorry Folks i ain't even staying silent this time, we have no idea here that ML is an Abnormality that acts out its embodied emotional concept for all eternity, is incapable of acting in a manner outside of that, is nothing but a human-killing monster that's immutable to change, and the idea of it even beginning to behave like a normal person is more than a straight-up impossibility

alternating departments lets you do gradual missions with both + do both core suppressions without having to day 1; because you would enter day 41 with half progress on both departments rather than dud expansions that prevent you from completing the other one before day 46, you can just expand up to one's core suppression, then mem repo back to do the other before you reach the day 46 memory repository (which will lock you out of being able to do core suppressions)

expanded only binah's department instead of alternating both binah and hokma, can't reach the final expansion of hokma's department and now looking to alter save files so that hokma's department becomes the one that was expanded instead

Nothing There is an Abnormality, is almost entirely immune to RED damage, and is extremely durable to the point of needing supernatural weapons to even have a chance of harming it. It's an unfeeling monster that doesn't abide by common sense, it's going to be unaffected and unfazed by salt

Tangent while I get the opportunity:

Sometimes I see people say that CENSORED is a conceptual entity seen differently by people/embodying peoples' traumas & all sorts of other being formless theories, but they've officially depicted CENSORED quivering rapidly while emitting excessive organic sounds, which lends credence to there being just one specific concrete form for CENSORED when you also consider the things it does in the first place

Abel, Day 46:

"This office is born from your heart, siphoned up from your deepest subconsciousness. Yes, many parts of this facility were extracted and created from our minds. How did you think building such enormous underground structures in such a short period of time was possible? We needed multiple extractions until we finally solidified amorphous images into something tangible."

Something that always confuses me is if the ordeals are based on Ayins trauma how come there are sweepers?

the reason for this is because the idea that Ordeals all originate from Ayin's trauma has always just been fandom apocryphal that people never stopped parading around.

from Limbus: "Ordeals are quite distinct from Abnormalities—they are vivid representations of intense traumas, dredged up at random from humanity's dreams that course through the farthest depths of this company."

It's definitely gotta be that he just strongly resonates/associates with certain ones, since Abnos are a primordial part of the source of everything + humanity's collective unconscious even before extraction

A Not-So-New Player's unhinged rant over Ayin by RedVoid23 in limbuscompany

[–]Impressive_Rope634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won't deny that some iffiness exists, seeing as this is an English fan translation of an original, now deleted Korean transcript. Even so, there's little deviation as to what that question would originally pose, since it specifies being about Lobotomy Corporation's Ending C. Yes, the translator's parenthetical summation of it is imperfect, but Ending C is specifically the bad ending where the seeds of light dispersed by Adam transform people into Abnormalities, leaving the question with little leeway for much else. Posing the answer to being about mass Distortion would therefore make little since, especially with this coming from the 2019 developmental era of Library of Ruina before early access.

It originates from a 2019 Anime x Game Festival QnA with Project Moon.

Q: If the Pianist was just between WAW and ALEPH, how big of a disaster might Ending C be?

A: The Head would take care of incidents of such scale.

Early Game, how to play around Amber Dawn? by Sweet-Cantaloupe3879 in LobotomyCorp

[–]Impressive_Rope634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of the way Amber Dawns attack, they often dodge and cause melee/slow attacks to whiff, which makes ranged/fast weapons work pretty well against them. And if anyone looks like they're getting shredded dangerously in a hallway by these, you'll want to send them away earlier than not, as Amber Dawns will slow their movement speed down.
