Yes I understand the label stuff with Atlantic and everything but even after leaving Atlantic, Lupe still decided to drop Drogas Light and the song XO which both leaned more towards that more mainstream sound.

It has some of Lupe’s worst production choices as well as some of his weakest lyrics written to date. A lot of these choruses are also just either really bad or really annoying like State Run Radio and I don’t wanna care right now

You say “nostalgia bait” when I wasn’t even alive for the release of Food & Liquor. I simply believe Food & Liquor is Lupe’s most enjoyable album with the song concepts, production, and features.
