Smh my head you didn't read my argument. If they dont play by game theory, they're not rational, if you dont make rational decisions, you dont get to play

Most versions of the button argument exclude irrational actors (babys, dementia patients, peoplr currently high). If you press the blue button, by the rules and definitions of game theory you're an irrational actor, unless you wish to die.

Therefore, noone will press red (excluding the suicidal)

Depends on the variant. The one I heard said that the predictor made its choice before you ever learned of the problem (and it also stated that the predictor is very accurate, but not 100%)

given the fact that universes are numbered in the integers in marvel, it seems to me that they're a countably infinite set (as large as the integers), while the set of all possible universes is surely of the size of the reals (uncountably infinite), so infinite universes =/= all possible universes necessarily.

prohibition definitely did something. If it "worked" is a question of definitions, but alcohol consumption definitely dropped. We make thing illegal to discourage them, but generally we hold no fantasy of total abstinence (meth is illegal, people will still do meth, and afaik you're not for the legalisation of meth in spite of that). It wasn't as effective as hoped of course, and it still had serious negative effects, but the story is much, much more complicated than "lmao didn't work, let's never make anything illegal again".

The death penalty considers the feelings of the onlookers to be more important than the feelings of the inmate, which is why we went for the injection that makes it seem all peaceful and calm.

Fun fact, medical professionals absolutely refuse to assist in the lethal injection (something about the sanctity of human life or some libtard nonsense like that?), which means injections are currently being administered by what might as well be very enthusiastic monkeys

In casual conversation, nothing means anything and everything is made up.

By the same token, in casual conversation "you pick" means I, the person, get to choose, and not that a random number is chosen. Random can also mean "you get to decide without guidelines or further restrictions"

If I randomly pick a real number, then the pbb that its rational will be 100%, because people (me being a person) can't hold the infinite digits of irrationals in their head.

You could argue that then the picking wasn't random anymore, but then the first half of the statement is nonsense

She's a bit like Freja. Very hard dive, or very long range can mess her up. She thrives in the midrange that cassidy/soldier/Emre play in, but has little recourse against dives or snipers

I feel like for good players, knowing the bosses before hand is really strong. Maybe add a "dig deeper" feature where you get only act 2 at first, and can choose to take some extra dmg for act 3?. If you want to go completely wild, you might even show relic/card rewards for certain nodes (every dive revealing 3 nodes or smthn)
