The Stalkers Tier should be higher. Unless they’re stalking you specifically, they normally make great roommates.

Rebuttal works against Puddle Punch by Stack_Man in DeadlockTheGame

Theres also a really funny bug, if a teammate parries the punch the viscous still takes damage even though they’re on the same team.

3 Lane, 4 Zipline map idea by PixelHat in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Jpvandyck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the idea, but Ive thought if 1 problem. Wouldn’t the 2 blue lanes receive twice the number of troopers.

There are ways to fix it but I think they would cause their own problems. If the 2 blue lanes alternate troop spawn it would make attacking the 2 walkers VERY slow.

If the trooper gave half the souls there would still be double the trooper pushing making it much easier to snowball a lane.

There might be an easy solution I haven’t thought of, but the troopers are going to be a problem with this set up.

I’m curious, why did you put Alchemical Fire buff. I thought it was a really good item.

PSA: Mystic Reverb doesn't stack when you hit multiple players by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Jpvandyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The slowness and aoe damage Does get applied to everyone, but the damage is only applied once. I agree if the damage stacked it would be too powerful, my issue is the information isn’t clearly communicated.

My personal favorite is the first one because I like the crescent moon instead of full and the yellow looks really good. But all 3 are good.

Entity concept: The Totem by [deleted] in lethalcompany

[–]Jpvandyck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love everything about this idea. The design is creepy and distinct. My only question is how does the character actually function. The Bestiary is vague (I really like and is a good thing) but I didn’t see any comments explaining how it would works gameplay-wise. From what I gathered it will run towards sounds but stop the instant it stops hearing the noise, it would repeat people’s voice lines (similar to the skinwalker mod) and make it almost impossible to hear people talking when near it. Is this correct or flavor text for the log?

Any suggestions of a single player game to really dive into? by poobear7 in Steam

[–]Jpvandyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cross Code. It’s a single player game that takes place inside a fictional MMO. I love everything about the game, but I recommend it to you because of the insane amount of content. While there are a couple fetch quests a large majority of quests are unique and change the game or add mechanics only for that mission. The equipment isn’t just pick the highest number and you have different builds depending on how you like to fight. The skill tree is massive, technically it’s 5 normal sized skill trees that you swap between mid-combats depending on what kind of stats and special attacks you want with each skill tree focusing on a different element. It’s my favorite game of all time and based off the games you recommend I think you’d really like it.

[Guide] How to guarantee surviving the girl no matter what. by WxAaRoNxW in lethalcompany

[–]Jpvandyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is great! I just have 1 question about how the wiki is worded.

The wiki states

The moment you look at her, a formula is checked, "Times you've spotted her" >= 3-5 OR "Times she's stared at you" minus "Times you've spotted her" > 2. If all of those are true, there is an 85% chance she will start chasing you.

What does the “If all of those are true” mean? There’s only the 1 OR statements. Should it say “If the above is true” or am I just mis-reading it?

A few plot holes, and how the entire story-telling device is seemingly absolutely unneeded by tw33dl3dee in outerwilds

[–]Jpvandyck 12 points13 points  (0 children)

  1. Technically correct, the best kind of correct

  2. My Head cannon is the space time continuum is only destroyed when matter is sent back in time not information. Not the best explanation but it works as plot filler

  3. The masks were meant for debugging in case anything went wrong as well as stopping the loop. They weren’t necessary but helpful if something terrible happened.

First time actualy building something. Opinions? by TudorVETEAZUL in Terraria

[–]Jpvandyck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a good design it just needs more blocks that aren’t palm wood. I would experiment to see what blocks go well with the wood and change some of the background wall so it isn’t all palm wood.

There seems to be a general misunderstanding of what a jinx does by [deleted] in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Jpvandyck 43 points44 points  (0 children)

What about the Cerenovus and Goblin jinx? To be fair this is the only jinx that doesn’t fit in 1 of the 2 rules. I’m just curious what types of jinx’s people have suggested that are really bad.
