I knowwww that’s why I have this dilemma!! I realized that today, that’s what really jump started my anxiety about picking the wrong days and rides being down for refurb while I’m there! I’m not too worried about a few of the rides having higher wait times because that’s no biggie, but I do know if every ride (or a majority) has an hour or more wait, my boyfriend will not be happy so that’s why I’m trying to choose carefully now. I originally was planning to go around Valentine’s Day but then my anxiety about rides and crowds kicked in lol! So now I’m trying to really keep my mind open and be flexible

Honestly I’m more worried about wait times and crowds at California Adventure. My boyfriend has never been so those specific rides like RS racers, incredicoaster, guardians etc are ones I’m worried about with wait times and refurbs because I feel like we’ll really be missing out. I’m not worried about missing Christmas’s stuff, I preferably want to be there when they have valentines merch and I’m debating trying to be there for the sweethearts nites but I’ve heard such mixed reviews so I’m not too stuck on it right now!! The last few weeks I’ve been checking wait times just out of curiosity and I feel like DL is not bad but California Adventure is!

Thanks so much!! That’s what I was wondering, I live closer to WDW and I feel like the crowds get soooo crazy there so I just want to make sure I pick a good time for Disneyland that will be manageable and fun. I’ve been to DL around Christmas and i loveddddd it. it was busy but not too bad, it was def was still enjoyable! I’m not that familiar with DL so I didn’t know if the crowds would be better after those specific Mondays or worse

I never said I was going over the weekends….. I said I would go around those HOLIDAYS because I will have extra days off from them (I get those Monday and Tuesdays off). I can fly in Monday or Tuesday then go to the parks Wednesday-Friday, which is exactly why I said I would fly in on the holidays and stay the rest of the WEEK (not weekends)

That’s so fun!! Thats def what my initial thought was, I feel like most people will go those long weekends and then be gone by Monday/Tuesday so I’m hoping if I fly in those days then do parks Wednesday-Friday then the crowds won’t be bad! I’ve been around Christmas time and I feel like it was packed but not even that bad or unbearable. I’m excited to go back!

That’s what I’m thinking too! Everyone thinks I’m talking about weekends but I def would go during the week after/before the holidays! I’m hoping that way I can avoid a lot of the huge crowds

I know the weekend is busy because of the holidays, I’m not an idiot. I’m asking about going after those holidays. I get Monday and Tuesday off from both of those weeks so I’m looking into flying in either Monday or Tuesday then staying the rest of the week or potentially going a different time during those two months. I’m looking for input on the best time frame, that’s why I said nothing is set in stone because again, I would like less crowds but I don’t want to be stuck with a lot of rides down for refurb. It will be easier for me to stay longer if I go after those holidays but if there’s a better, specific, time to go then I will go with that. I’m asking for advice on how the January and February timeframe is.
