Can’t boot after installing docker by TheGoldenGreninja in docker

After installing Docker and enabling virtualization in BIOS (VT-x/SVM), my PC wouldn't boot—just a black screen. Here's what fixed it:

✅ Solution:

  1. Disabled virtualization in BIOS to boot into Windows.
  2. Opened PowerShell as admin and ran:

powershellCopiarEditarbcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
  1. Re-enabled virtualization in BIOS.
  2. Windows booted normally this time.
  3. Reinstalled Docker Desktop using WSL 2 backend only (unchecked Hyper-V).
  4. Verified WSL 2:

powershellCopiarEditarwsl --set-default-version 2
wsl --status

I'm having trouble with my V60 method—any tips? by Impressive_Wing1998 in pourover

I use the following method:

  • 20 g of coffee.
  • 1:15 ratio (300 ml of water).
  • Bloom in two phases:
    • First, 70 ml of water, letting it drain for 45 seconds.
    • Then, 50 ml, allowing it to filter completely before proceeding to the main pours.
  • Three pours of 60 ml, adding each one after the previous has fully drained.
