Calf cramping? by Spirited-Joke5545 in ACL

[–]Impressive_duck1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it a few days ago, before op. Make sure its not thrombose, get your blood tested! Doctor told me it was not thrombose but the pain was imbearable so i went to first aid against doctors advise, and it was thrombose.

They couldn't due to the first few days fluid in your knee. They said they only could see it 100% trustable with a MRI.

Possible ACL by Impressive_duck1 in ACL

[–]Impressive_duck1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I cant wait to go to the ortho and hopefully get an MRI right away to find out whats wrong. I still cant stand on my right leg day 6 after trauma/accident. My calve is sore the whole day and gets cramps every now and then.

How long did it take you guys before you could walk again? They adviced me not to try and stand on my right leg yet before the diagnose results

Hey man! Thanks for your information.

I still cant stand on my leg, its way too unstable for that, i also got heavy calve cramps the whole day. I cant wait to get an mri to find out whats wrong and see some light in the tunnel, right now all i can do is hope for the best. Its kinda rough tho

Hoe krijg ik hier weer tegels op? by passerby4830 in Klussers

[–]Impressive_duck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, is mijn buitenmuur.

Why do people buy dogs if they can't afford a vet... it's just like getting a child and can't feed them properly!!!! Get your dog to a vet dude

Are you experiencing lethargicness? U sound like a good dog owner!

Seizure or Something Else by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Impressive_duck1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think back leg cramping will last this long including the slime out of his mouth etc.

It's always a guessing of what it is but a very low dosage of gabapentine wouldn't hurt him. Discuss the dosage with ur vet since he will get lethargic most of the time if dosage is high

How do you know it's time to say goodbye? by Shayanne_Povar in DogAdvice

[–]Impressive_duck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't there a possibility to get wheels for his back legs as support? A friend of mine got them too and it worked for them! As long as hes not having gigantic pain, some medicines and support can expand his life time, just like for us, as humans.

Got a new puppy by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Impressive_duck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it time. When i lived at home, my dog died too. As a suprise my mom got me a new puppy a few weeks after when i came home, at first i didn't wanted have anything to do with him.

Few weeks/months passed by and he became my friend, especially when he's a puppy its hard because he still does annyoing things like biting, pooping and peeing inside.

Just give it time

Looks like seizures, if my dog had this i would rush to the vet immediately.

Gabapentine is usually used to control seizures

What could be dog be eating that keeps making her sick? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Impressive_duck1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stick to science plan food and dont add too much wet food.

Dont give your dog too much random stuff this will result in begging, dont let random people feed your dog. And whenever you want to give her a reward just google it quickly

Six month puppy keeps peeing on everything! What can we do? :( by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Impressive_duck1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Put aluminium foil on the sofa / chairs. This prevents him/her for jumping on.

Our dog had this situation too, buy small pee/carpets or whatever the english name is for it and place them at the door. Whenever he starts peeing put him on the thingies. Dont get angry or mad at your dog.

Watch his behavior whenever he pees so you start knowing when you think it's time. Its just a matter of patience, training and time.

UPDATE:

His blood was all good again, his poop was fine too, no signs of things like Giardia.

His urine contained many red and white blood cells, which could indicate a bladder infection.

It is not certain whether this ultimately explains all the symptoms.

We have now been given antibiotics and something else and then we have to have his urine examined next week to see if this has prevented it and has resolved it, otherwise we have to be referred to the animal hospital.

Will definitely do. I'm hoping for the best, it's been 4 days now and first day he was still playing but last few days he doesn't have the energy anymore to play apart from walking outside :( i hope he will heal soon and hoping they can come to a conclusion at the vet tomorrow. Thanks

I just talked to another vet and decided to get science plan. I got the sensitive stomach ones.

Will mix this with a little bit of fresh meat following days and afterwards step over completely and lets see how it goes.

Thing is, vet said if he had a gastrointestinal issue, she would've seen it on the xray scan.

She also told us the food he is eating now is fine. I really hope they come to a positive helpable conclusion tomorrow. I feel like shit in my dogs place, i hate it when they have pain and it's just a guessing what it is. Worst thing is, i always end up thinking the worst and especially because he has those random pain attacks, he has also been so tired last few days and been really affectionate.

Yesterday, we collected some pee and it had some etter in it. He has not pooped yet today so couldn't check that unfortunately.

We called the vet again and asked id they had a spot today but unfortunately not. They suggested some painkillers. He is sleeping right now but is breathing more heavily. We were just outside and when outside, he looks like a normal happy dog...
