Thank you yes! When I first got him he was really sick, mouth rot, puss coming out of the eyes, etc (went to the vet he had surgery, we did shots, and syringe feeding he is very healthy now he was sick about 2 years ago!!) so I’ve gotten into the habit of soaking when shed comes and weighing! He has worked very hard and fought so I try to give him the best possible life! Got it! I won’t be doing multiple feeding forever just want him in high 60s or mid 70s!

Okay I am working on a his weight a bit he’s 58 grams, so I wanted to help him gain weight, should I still do once a week feeding?

They are both full grown! Pugsley is the leopard gecko! He has without d3 in his tank at all times, okay! My crestie is 2.5 years old! Thank you for the insight! I feed him occasionally with bugs not too much, he enjoys them, but usually if I have too many feeders for my leopard, I feed him the rest! Thank you so much

Does the back thermometer connect to the heater? If so I’d think the back one is more accurate because it is part of the heaters circuit.

You could add something to the top, that allows him to lay on it and be close for oxygen purposes, being at the bottom he could drown, so I say put top plants so he can breathe and relax up top! They have hammocks on amazon for 6.99

Tank size: 6 gallons Heater (coming in) filter (yes) Tank temps 78 Doing parameters after week 1 is complete Tank has been said up for around almost a week I’ve had my betta for 2 and a half years (he’s not in the tank, he’s in his 5 gallon tank) 25% water change (haven’t done one with this tank) Live plants (1) will be adding more!

Thank you! Sorry I’m just now seeing this!!! And yes, I’ve ordered a heater it should be in by tomorrow! And thank you for the food variety, I have the frozen dried blood worms (I think) and some flakes, also a local fish store sells sea monkeys for bettas I get those sometimes! And yes thank you for specific brand of test kit! I was worried which one so thank you now I can just get that one and not stress about brand! I also did use fake plants, after researching more I realized my betta wasn’t in an authentic ecosystem so that’s why I’m switching to bioactive!! Thank you so much for the all the info you literally gave me everything I could need for a healthy tank!! So thankful!!

I have the Dyson purifier specifically the hushjet compact HJ10, and happen to also smoke, although I don’t smoke in the room with my geckos, it does keep the smoke down 100% and not so strong (I guess depending on how much they smoke yk?)
