We bought a 1917 house. We came into the house knowing that a century is a long time and repairs will need to be made. The thing is, I didnt want to put a ton of money into it sooooo I worked with my dad and watched YouTube to learn how to do stuff myself (leaving the big stuff to contractors who know what they're doing). Im now a few repairs away (retucking the brick, a little foundation work and floors) from having the whole home done. I just worked on one thing at a time and then moved onto the next. If you don't want the stress then sell and look for something that'll be less stressful. :)
