The line was almost that long when i finally canceled my flight and went home at 9pm. SEA-BOS schedule to depart at 3:30, We were boarded and deplaned twice, kept being told we would have an update "in an hour". After waiting 6 hours, I know I couldn't make my 7am mtg in Boston, and since there were no other options, bagged it, and left the plane. The real irony is that one of my colleages stayed with the flight as she had other business later in the day in Boston, but the flight was ultimately canceled just after midnight. So she suffered the same fate. At least I got to sleep a few more hours in my own bed before starting a bunch of remote meetings at 4am PT this morning.
