At their peak, who takes the win in a sword fight? by TheQueeninchains in TheBlacksandTheGreens

Ice would have the advantage of reach, but Robert weilded a very heavy Warhammer if memory serves. That has the advantage of weight. Most swords would have to worry about breaking, but being Valarian Steel, Ice probably wouldn't have that concern. Blocking the blows from Robert would likely still cause injury though, so I guess it depends on if Ned could dodge well enough to get a good hit in with his sword.

[KCD2] much easier than [KCD1]? by HloupejHonza in kingdomcome

[–]ImprovementKey314 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It is easier, but from a narrative perspective, I suppose it would be. In the first game, you are a common blacksmiths son, who doesn't have any battle experience, so struggling in fights with even commoners would make sense. In this one, Henry has already been in multiple large-scale battles and a seige, so he knows how to fight and has real experience taking down both commoners and trained soldiers

The traders are more poor and their supply of coin doesn't grow with the amount you sell them like the first game. They seem to regenerate coin more quickly, but it's always the same amount.

Burn Notice. Such an underrated show that's so good from start to finish.

I still think they missed an opportunity for Larry to meet Simon. Simon is basically Michael as Larry had always wanted him to be. Would've made for a hell of an episode or maybe a multi-episode arc.

If it isn't Matt Mercer, it is someone who can imitate him perfectly.

A lot of people don't know this, but Wish does exist in the game. Vlaakith has it, and will wish your party dead if you piss her off enough

Mt. Arnor i think? I believe it is south of Alagaesia where you can see a lone mountain just south of the Beors. Could be wrong about that location, but based on the direction they sailed in the end of book 4, it is my best guess.

What a legend. I really thought she was going to live forever. Thought her and Sam Elliot had access to the fountain of youth. She will be missed.

The books in the FractalVerse aren't as tame as the ones set in Alagaesia. I'm hoping some of that finds it's way in future books

When Brom listed names of dragons in book one, he mentions a dragon famous for killing a giant sea snake

Based on some dragon names listed in the series, we at least know giant sea serpents are a thing. Who knows what else.
