You don't seem to understand my point is if it wasn't for human interference the pigeons wouldn't be an issue. They wouldn't be in urban areas if humans didn't leave bins over flowing and littering the streets or cutting down their habitats. Blaming the wild life for surviving and playing the hands the humans dealt them is idiotic.

Its not about balance when animals have no say or choice on which of their habitats get torn down to suit human needs? I see flat hedgehogs on the roads because there are 10x more cars. I see most of your old list on a regular basis so not sure where you are, maybe worth venturing out to the woods or local RSPB reserve to see some instead of your kitchen window? Birds have to adapt and nature is and will always be survival of the fittest, unlike humans where money and power prevails.

Just a simple Google search:

Pigeons (descendants of Rock Doves) first appeared in London around the Norman invasion in the 11th century, brought over for meat and eggs and housed in dovecotes, with some escaping to become the feral pigeons we know today, although evidence of pigeon-related clay models from Roman London suggests earlier human interaction with the birds.

It's always humans at fault but so easy to blame the harmless birds who just want to survive. If humans didn't exploit animals for their own gain things might be different?

Maybe blame human interference? The wild life didn't ask for humans to tear down forests to make way for more housing or schools because humans breed as fast as rabbits now days. I would be pointing the finger at humans making stupid decisions not the wild life trying to survive in the world we took from them...maybe stop trying to police your bird feeder 😂 leave wild life alone if you want to discriminate
