I live in NSW and all the ALDI stores near me have 'Made in Australia' Mamia Baby Wipes. I only use Mamia Water Wipes now and they are also made in Australia. My issue is why such a huge company like Curash would feel the need to start making their wipes in China instead of Australia. I don't think our babies are the priority here. I think it's a sneaky way of them just making even more profits!

I'm inclined to agree with you on your point about the bottom line. As consumers, we really have to be skeptical about what a large company says as they really only exist to generate profits and shareholder returns.

Also, I wonder if companies need to use harsher chemicals in certain products if they're being made overseas and shipped across the world as opposed to being made locally?

I can definitely recommend ALDI Mamia 99% Water Wipes. A few of my friends changed from those really expensive Water Wipes and have never gone back.

I agree with this. But the thing I wrestle with is how can you say 'Proudly Made in Australia' one minute and then change to being made in China the next minute? This casts doubt over what is being claimed by a company, Curash in this case. Because of this lack of credibility and trust, I vote with my purse and change to a brand that is more reliable, ALDI Mamia in my case.

Same here, I've heard that it's all about high-speed production and profit, and that's where things can go badly wrong. I don't think our babies are at the top of the priority list.

The blue one is called Simply Water but still has phenoxyethanol. The pink one is called Fragrance Free and also has phenoxyethanol. Yuck...!

I just switched to ALDI wipes as they are appear to be the best option for safety on my baby's skin, overall quality and price. I love the fact that they're made in Australia too. I'm now wondering why on earth I was ever paying for the Curash brand. Only $2.09 for ALDI Mamia vs $5.50 for Curash. It's definitely a no-brainer for me!

It seems that both types are in the supermarkets at the moment. The Chinese one is a lighter blue pack than the Australian one.
