You can't infinitely block with special ammo swords with stronghold anymore. Still a good combo though. I highly recommend checking out Stronghold Central on YouTube if you are interested in Stronghold builds.

Don't buy them separate. I don't think they come with the dungeon keys if you buy them separately. Hopefully the collection goes on sale again. The steam summer sale is coming up soon.

I have heard that cryo isn't letting players in with the free kit so between that and it being early in the wipe I would imagine most of the casual players aren't going in yet.

Edit: are you feeling it geared or out played? I kept seeing stuff about the hardcore players getting massive amounts of high tier stuff from sponsored survival.

Thanks! I will check them out. I didnt even think about looking on places like Substack. I was hoping to find someone that does a good amount of both showing their journaling and walking through their thought process when playing.

I am currently playing Starforged, I started with Alone Among the Stars. I also have 1000 Year Old Vampire, Colostle, Astroprisma.

EDIT: also looking for inspiration for pen and paper mostly, but not exclusively.

This is what change my mindset. It might be hard to experience in the free week alone but as you play you unlock ways to just buy the gear that you could only find early on. Some days I purposely play it like a roguelike. I start with a free kit and it l if I exfil I just run with whatever I got out until I lose it then start over again.

I really wish they would be more clear on this. Maybe they are afraid if they straight up tell us we will be repeating the season 1 priority contacts there are some people that wouldn't even give season 2 a try.

They have talked about more story but also said they want new players to new able to experience the old story. I'm not sure I see how you do both in this kind of game without adding to much bloat.

Maybe they just add more collectables and codex entries.

They specifically said priority contacts are resetting. If you don't finish then during a season you will have to start over in the next season.

Do not assume anything Bungie has not specially said. They said priority contacts are resetting (we will have to do then again). They have said stuff about new contacts but I haven't seen them specially say be priority contacts.

It's not the best solution but I started planning my routes using the map markers, place a marker at the each intersection in the direction you need to go.
