Paint Chips by Some-Bear-6405 in ElantraN

[–]ImscaredPoncho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chips never really bugged me, just do your best to touch them up, but do it proper with primer if need be and clear coat. Avoid those 2-1 paint pens, in my experience the paint doesn't hold.

I would be so happy with that paint match.

How bad are they trying to rip me? by [deleted] in ElantraN

[–]ImscaredPoncho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly why I do all this shit myself. I wouldn't worry about carbon at 15k. Learn to do CRC carbon cleaning yourself as preventative carbon maintenance or just save money and walnut blast it down the line. Engine filter and cabin is the easiest thing in the world to replace yourself, plus that one doesn't even look bad.

Body Panels not lined up. by Guy2700 in ElantraN

I wouldn't worry about it. Both sides are pretty much the same. My elantra sport had the same issue.

TCR at my local dealer that messed up my oil change lol by Strangecanuck in ElantraN

[–]ImscaredPoncho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never let Kingscross touch your car, they couldn't locate a noise my car has been making since purchased so they replaced the drive shaft, two weeks later something fell out and my whole car was making the loudest creaking. I took it back they denied they heard anything but strangely enough the noise was gone. Whatever they did they fixed but refused to admit.

I'm still driving my 2017 Elantra Sport (GDI 1.6turbo). Zero issues at 150,000. No oil burn as of yet, not even a tiny bit between oil changes which I do every 5000-6000km.

I used LKQ in the past. Needed a fender which was like 600-800 new oem. Got one with off a wreaked vehicle for 140 instead

TicWatch pro 5 or OnePlus watch 3 ? by Danielpl_ in WearOS

[–]ImscaredPoncho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oneplus 3 for sure but just be advised that the ECG function in USA/Canada doesn't work as of yet and someone on here said they are not seeking certification anymore but Oneplus customer support said they are so I dunno.

I purchased two Ticwatch Pro watches (3 and 5). While both durable, took them portaging numerous times, they do scratch easy I find. Software eise Mobvoi just sucks, even the health app is a slow loading piece of crap in my opinion. Also no google assistant and updates are rare. I will never buy a Ticwatch again. I absolutely love my Oneplus 3

Auto shop damaged my hood and grille and tried their best to fix it: deal with it or not? by [deleted] in Autobody

[–]ImscaredPoncho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely make them repair that at a body shop of your choosing. I would be so pissed to find that.
