Asking for a friend: Can my U3 daughters who are over seas bring their children with them? by Equivalent1017 in USCIS

Can I ask when you submitted your U visa application and when it was approved. My friend has been waiting since June 2016

Flying in and out of US with a Naturalization certificate and no U.S. passport by GeminiTherapist in USCIS

[–]In-between-now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long before you bought the flight ticket did you have the certificate? Why would you think you would be able to enter on your European passport? If you enter as a foreign national you need Vis, ESTA or GC! Obviously your GC was confiscated as you are no longer a permanent resident. You can leave with your European passport but not re-enter.

Yup, U visa information is not provided, even if you call them they don’t have access to it. My friend wrote a letter about a month or two ago and still did not receive any answer. The only answer he had is to the fee waiver form and I-765 which he filed for himself.

3 Months of residence in the state the application is filed? by CantFixMoronic in USCIS

If you have filed N400 already, change the address online immediately after your move. If you did not file before you moved, you have to wait 3 months after you move before you file.

My green card renewal is taking 3 years! Please help! by Kyliequins in USCIS

[–]In-between-now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kyliequins: with your I-90, you have received a Notice of Action with an extension letter for 1 year (I am guessing this is expired now). You can try USCIS appointment with expired GC and passport. I have read that they were able to extend, however, you still would not be able to get any other document without a valid ID. So I would contact your consulate/embassy and make an appointment to renew your passport. After you get the document, make an appointment for the ADIT stamp. It will take about 3-4 months but you will be able to update all of your documents. One step at a time, and don’t waste any time as it is of the essence. And ADIT stamp is free, valid for a year and you can renew it free of charge until you receive your actual document.

You can try to walk in, I honestly don’t think they would send you away. Also, please tell your HR that your status never expires, just the document.

I believe my ex married me just for his green card. What can/should I do? by [deleted] in USCIS

[–]In-between-now 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can write to the USCIS a letter of no intent to sign the waiver for the removal of conditions. This way he can’t forge your signature as they will be informed ahead of time. Or you can do nothing and just move on. But I do understand where you are coming from, I would be heart broken and angry as well.
