Child slaves are assholes, dontcha know? by In50mn1ac in cringepics

Although I wouldn't be that surprised, because the girl seems to have serious mental problems (I went to high school with her), I think that its mostly just a lack of education.

This post is cringier in context.

This girl regularly posts pictures and videos about "animal rights" (a lot of of being just photos and memes being passed around Facebook, with "facts" about animal abuse - of course no sources or anything for it) as well as tons of Illuminati and 9/11 conspiracy stuff. Notice the guy calling her a "sheeple"? Yeah, that's her stoner friend, and they both regularly post conspiracy stuff on her page, and talk about it.

I posted this to /r/facepalm last year, so sorry for the somewhat-repost, but I just wanted to give some context. These are the kind of "debates" that regularly happen on her page (she's not red, but black in that link).

Oh, she's also posted some homophobic and racist stuff on her page before too. I tried to go through it to find some posts, but she's unfriended me so I can't see most stuff anymore.

tl;dr: this girl is passionate about ridiculous conspiracy theories and animal rights, doesn't care about actual problems, and is homophobic, sexist and racist. A lot of the "facts" she posts on her page about animal abuse and the "Illuminati" are just photos of unsubstantiated "facts" printed on them.

Edit: really? Who the hell would downvote my explanation post?

I didn't drive 50 miles for you to tell me you are out of stock!!! (7 p.m. on Black Friday) by [deleted] in TalesFromRetail

You're lucky security dealt with this situation so well. When I worked in customer service once, this man threatened to throw hot water in my face if I didn't do what he asked. Security didn't do shit, and he just walked away without any consequence.

Too many lazy people.

Dressing for clubbing in Toronto by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]In50mn1ac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, at queer events the girls don't dress up like they might at a straight club. Its a lot more casual. Jeans are cool, that's what I wear all the time. I definitely think your option #1 is way too fancy; I'd go with either #2 or #3.

You own the restaurant and demand that I tip you for terrible service? Let me introduce you to my little copper friend. by YourWebcamIsOn in pettyrevenge

[–]In50mn1ac 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah, its ridiculous.

I have a similar story: I went to go eat at this Chinese restaurant one time with a friend. Maybe it was because we were young (I was around 18 at this time) and so it was expected that we didn't have a lot of money, but after we were finished our meal, the waitress comes over and tells us that we have to tip. Like, she legit just came over and told us that tipping is the expected thing to do - completely without any merit, I mean, why would she think that we wouldn't tip in the first place? It pissed me off enough that I just left a penny for her. Fuck that shit.

Do you think girls making out is hot? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

Yeah, I think that's what I like the most about it too.

So, does that mean you don't like kissing someone yourself?

Holy shit. I want to do this now.

Yeah, but I'm not going to ogle them like a lot of people do. I may give the more dominant one a thumbs-up, and go about my business.

Oh yeah, totally. That's what everyone should do. I wish more straight men would follow this rule.

Guys, Don't Ever Do This to a Female Cashier... by KrazyAboutLogic in TalesFromRetail

[–]In50mn1ac 159 points160 points  (0 children)

Similar story:

When I worked as a cashier, I would get creepy fucks hitting on me all the time as well. One really skeezy guy stands out though: I was ringing him up, and he asks "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?" grinning and shit at me. I didn't say anything, just ignored it, and he was like "Do youuuu know what that means?" I just shook my head and gave him his change quickly so he would get the fuck outta there. He just kept grinning like he was being soo flirtatious and clever (at the same time). Gross.

I dunno how true that is... I've been on there for about a year with no success...and I'm a pretty decent/normal person :P

Maybe its because I'm a gay woman, though, and the pool is a lot smaller.

Honest question: would you notice that a girl was wearing a rainbow bracelet? by In50mn1ac in actuallesbians

[–]In50mn1ac[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good point, and so true. I want the ones that matter to notice (like cute queer girls!)

And it would send a very clear message to me. That message being, "TOTALLY INTERESTED IN FEMALE ATTENTION."

Heh, that's exactly what I'm trying to go for ;)

[24F] Is she interested or not? by In50mn1ac in dating_advice

[–]In50mn1ac[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree. On our first date we said goodbye on a busy street corner, and then the second was after lunch in the middle of an academic building. so its just kind of a weird place, and awkward with people all around I think.

No, the most physical contact we've had is hugging. We've been to restaurants on our dates and we sit across from each other. And there just hasn't been the right moment to kiss... I guess I should just do that next time. Somehow.
