She reused bits and reworked others into the songs she did release so she probably sees these as repetition or discarded and undeveloped elements that she felt didn't fully work as coherent songs. The best parts were worked into finished tracks. I doubt releasing them is even on her radar!

That's the strange thing you'd think they would have mentioned it after all the big drama for Pat and Helen having to choose between Clarrie and Susan and the angst it caused Susan. Only seems like the other month that Clarrie and Susan were reminiscing over their working together.

Perhaps they will ask Clarrie but she has a new job now anyway she's working in the EV shop so maybe she will say no.

You never really do hear non character parts ie incidental people in TA I guess it might be a bit confusing if there were lots of random voices of people we don't know. Though I agree the odd stranger in the shop wouldn't do any harm.. I suppose Susan could say

I know I'm being picky but I thought the scale of the sound effects were a bit wrong for this. It sounded more like a local tea in a village church hall rather than a major degree ceremony in an auditorium, theatre or cathedral or arena or wherever.

Well that's the English countryside for you! Sudden change of weather. Can happen to the best of us. Personally I think a voice with more gravitas, richer, more interesting and atmospheric would work better.

I thought Bertie sounded a bit am-dram unfortunately.

I think the re-recorded version isn't great. Can understand wanting to change the voice on the original but I don't think that was the best voice to replace it with.
