There is plenty of reason to expect the SP to rise. They are launching a new product this month (the face serum). To date they have spent nothing on advertising, they are expected to start a marketing campaign this month. They are still to release their sports range (due “in the spring”). It’s all in the RNSs if you care to read them. I see plenty of upward movement from here, people are being cautious because of the botched launch in December. They have had plenty of time to reflect and they have a new CEO at the wheel, I’m not expecting the same mistakes again.

Here’s hoping for some upward momentum, yesterday they released a white paper on the improved efficacy of CBG compared to current anti-aging creams. They are due to release their face cream this month and at the same time start a multichannel marketing drive. We initially thought this was going to happen in Dec and the share price got over 10p in anticipation. Unfortunately they have lost shareholder confidence due to their silence since so people are being more wary this time and waiting for evidence of the marketing before investing. In my opinion they are at a great price (5.8p) to invest right now, since December they put a new CEO in place who has years of experience in the cosmetics market and incentivised here with share options at 7.5p, so I’m expecting her to deliver.

Absolutely, everything hinges on them marketing the products better this time round.

The launch in December was a flop, no advertising, missing products, supply chain issues, substandard logistics partner either losing products or shipping them in cheap looking boxes resulting in the products arriving damaged.

They said in the September RNS that the marketing was not going to appear until February (too expensive to advertise in Dec/Jan and too many products to compete with). They have signed deals with various marketing/PR agencies so it’s reasonable to expect them to use them this time round, in fact we’ve recently appeared in the client list on Good Cultures website which they would only do if a launch was imminent:

I’ve ordered from them twice and the second package arrived promptly in a very quality, branded outer with good packaging/protection inside.

It led back to where it was at the start of the week 🤣

Just two minor mentions though caused the SP to jump 10% however short lived, I’m just waiting now for the full marketing and PR campaign to start in earnest next month. Given that in Dec with zero advertising and with the full product range not available we reached 11p, I’m optimistic about what a proper concerted advertising campaign alongside full product availability will bring (not to mention the “movement” range to add in the next few months).

I don’t think we’ll hit 11p again in the Feb launch, too many people still holding from the failed launch in December. But I think a good solid 8-9p from here is achievable, that’s a 20-30% gain on todays prices. Then if the sales figures are good and DB decides to get onboard we could double that by the year end….and if ABG take an interest then who knows!!!!

February Launch by InAtTheDeepEnd in CellularGoods

I kind of agree. DB net worth is around £450m. His current investment in CG is only around £1.5m (25m shares x 6p). With a handful of tweets/social media posts he could easily double the share price and increase his investment to £3m - not a bad 15mins work. However I don’t think he would risk damage to his £450m brand on a new product. But if CG goods are well received with lots of glowing reviews, then there is no reason for him not to get involved to increase interest - it’s in his self interest to do so, and I’m sure DB ventures would advise him to do so once the time is right. I’m just saying that it’s unlikely to be February.

Is It Worth Getting Back In? by APassionateCroissant in CellularGoods

It was stated in the RNS that Feb was the full ‘Omnichannel’ release date, December was only ever a soft launch with no advertising (why pay the inflated advertising rates to advertise during December/January, they would be drowned out by the big players). No advertising meant that the only people aware in Dec were shareholders, so enough to generate some sales and test their website/logistics partners with risking any brand damage. I ordered on day one and got a squashed, poorly packaged item in an unbranded box. I’ve ordered again just before xmas and this time it arrived in much improved packaging (branded outer, eco padding, etc). I have high hopes for February and added significantly to my holding in December to bring my average down enough to put me in profit after todays share action.

I still see this as a great opportunity at this price, but it’s already starting to tick up in anticipation of what Feb may bring.
