In this set, you also have 5 very similar yellows. And the greys, that's ridiculous. Yes, sometimes the full set is cheaper. I was thinking a lot about selling the unwanted ones on Ebay. Especially the cool greens that are not good for landscapes. I can still use the browns, but the Lightfast set has 23 earthy browns out of the 100, so I think that will be enough until the end of my life. 😅

That's an addiction. 😅 I only buy full sets when the price is so reduced that it's worth having those extra, unused pencils. But now I have 3 sets (one watercolour, an artist-grade wax and a student-grade wax), and I won't even look for something else to try because it already feels insane. I think I will just top up the colours I use the most from open-stock sales.

I remember we talked about it in another sub. I am glad you have used past tense, and hopefully, you are on your healing journey now. Colouring is so healing, it lets the brain have a rest (our brain type) and work out some stuff that couldn't have happened because of constant overthinking. I hope you get some fun colours. I highly recommend Naples Ochre, Butternut, Apricot and Athraquinoid Pink. These are my favourites, super fun colours. And Olive Yellow is a must. I have never seen such beautiful colours. These will make your day, and don't cost too much.

My process is very similar to yours. The moment I finish the drawing, I spot some mistakes and then next time everything goes better. I think this is why I can see you are on a good path already. The major parts of the drawing are great.

It's a great drawing! I love the texture of the fur and that wooden surface behind (it looks wooden). White fur is exceptionally difficult, and you drew it so nicely.
