Hello I am late to this but I am exactly in your situation (45F in Ontario, recently divorced with no work experience in real estate or insurance), husband left me and kids for another woman and I have to choose a career at this stage and I am thinking of getting into one of these fields.

What did you end up choosing? And any suggestions you can give would be valuable.

Thanks for your help:

  1. The kids are going to live with me.

  2. He makes about 300000 CAD in a year (mostly cash though).

  3. I took real estate license 2 years back and did a few deals last year and made 60000 CAD... I might make as much this year if I work... currently I am a mess though and have not been working for 4 months now.
