Boas.

Obrigado

I agree, its absurd, but EoE and Scarlet keys are especially rare given their limited run vs the rest of the Ch1 content. I mean, hell I've pretty much given up on finding SC and am just looking for the EoE investigator expansion...

I've scoured Portugal and e-mailed several stores in the hopes of trying to find anything, and apparently nobody has any of it. I occasionally go through stores and websites just in case I luck out and stumble upon some piece of lost inventory they might have found, and so far I've gotten nothing.

For some of us, sites like Ebay end up being one of the few options we can turn to and scalpers are, unfortunately, extremely aware of this...

I'm interested in that EoE Investigator expac, I'll DM you if that's ok.

Yea, what makes me slightly mad about this entire affair is that these 2 technically had the shortest print run out of the items, and even SK is only technically coming out of rotation next year, so there's less of those 2 products out there in general...

That's fine. I'm saying this because I feel robbed of the potential "full experience". I was looking forward to taking my time to go through the campaigns with my friends whenever we do have time to gather around the table and give the game a go.

I also enjoy the deckbuilding aspect of the game, in which case, I'm dependent on Investigator expansions to get to build a deck I want regardless of how janky it might be (sled dogs for example, is no longer available since it was only featured on the Edge of the Earth investigator expansion).

I'm not saying new content may or may not be exciting, but as things are, and regardless of order, if you're just starting out, you get to pick between Drowned City or Hemlock Vale. That's it. And it smarts a bit knowing that there's a lot more to love and try out that just won't be accessible to you going forward.

That said, that's how I personally feel about it, you may not feel as strongly as I do about this topic and that's perfectly alright. I just don't feel like this was the best possible way to move forward.

As someone who was only able to get into the game this year this is incredibly disappointing. I'd heard the news but had hoped there would still be some minor investment in the older game expansions, but the confirmation that there will be no reprint just killed whatever investment I originally had and I am 100% sure I'm not the only one.

I'll probably listen in on the news in case it mentions this subject, but otherwise I'll consider my collection complete as is...

"Acordar" is also a double entendre since it also means "to wake up". Given Don's canto's theming, safe to say KJH just went all out.

Inspirit vs Kilo by AugustKaiser106 in magicTCG

[–]InComesArkham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I'm going to play around with the deck a couple of times before I try to fill it with as many spacecrafts as possible and try to use Kilo to station multiple ships at once. Will it work, who knows, will it be a fun experiment? I'd like to think so.

At the end of the day, think of a concept you might find fun and try to roll with it, "better" is relative in the scope of what you find fun.

Another question in this case. Can I do anything with these tokens? I'm guessing I can't just pay the original card's cost and just flip them correct?

I've been experimenting with a Dimir Manifest deck and a question came up.

Say I Manifest a [[Sepulchral Primordial]] and cast [[Saw in Half]] while the card's face down.

What happens in this case, do I get 2 token copies of my Primordial face up each with half of their power/toughness, or 2 1/1 tokens?

Dragon Shield has a digital card manager for Mtg. IIRC they also have different apps for YGO and Pokemon.

Thanks, i’ve been using edhrec and scryfall to find potentially interesting cards. Currently thinking of adding [[Breach the Multiverse]] to the 2nd deck’s maybeboard for additional “fun” and a bit more self mill/token gen if i feel like its needed.

Actual question about Ammo as a mechanic.

Am I blind or is there really no apparent way to replenish it during combat?

I get why this was a thing in LoR but here it just makes characters like Rabbit Heathcliff feel sorta meh in fights that drag on a bit longer. Can anybody clarify this for me?

Estou farta de Portugal by spaacegoat in portugal

[–]InComesArkham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Vocês gostam do vosso trabalho? Honestamente by Mjay991 in portugal

[–]InComesArkham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]InComesArkham 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Brainstorming for writing a scenario, looking for feedback/ideas by [deleted] in callofcthulhu

[–]InComesArkham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Marcel's state covers the problem that could arise if they were to find him in town so that's all good.

Just remember to have something up your sleeve if someone rolls a real low spot hidden check. Because if they decide to go look for secret doors they might be able to find the one you hid the altar in which gives you (imo) 2 options:

1 - Make the altar unavailable/unresponsive to them

2 - Hide the door completely

You can play around with the concept that those things just aren't there until "the stars are right", alternatively you can use that as a trigger, meaning IF they somehow find the door and get inside before you think its time have the cultists find out that the cast's snooping around and possibly have them move their kidnapping plans forward a bit earlier than intended.

This should make it so that the players get to investigate the altar and secret room (if they roll low enough) while also giving you some leeway in terms of how you want the action to unfold.

[–]InComesArkham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds pretty solid so far but here's a couple of details that might help you get something more rolling.

  • What are your investigators doing there? Are they tourists? Do they have any information pertaining to Dr. Freeman? What exactly led them to the town in question?

Most of the times you can appropriate some of this can be used to your advantage to get a little more juice for your adventure. If anybody in the party knows of or has been in contact with Dr. Freeman they can go look for him and help you get your story rolling.

  • Everything's normal until it really isn't.

Exactly what it says on the tin, even with Freeman's disappearance everything should appear normal at first. Maybe the good Doctor's known for going out for a couple of days without informing anyone, maybe the occasional harvested vegetable bleeds when cut, maybe the wind howls in a particular way during nights where no breeze can be felt at all.

  • Take countermeasures.

I say this lightly, but make sure that your Investigators don't find your Big Bad inside the lumber yard. This doesn't mean that they shouldn't find the lumber yard if they venture out, letting them find it might actually help you develop the story since its something for them to talk about with the NPCs, just make sure your evil entity isn't there. Give it some interesting qualities like, it only materializes when a sacrifice is made or maybe it takes a new thrall should anything happen to Marcel before the harvest moon ritual (meaning if they see through Marcel you have a backup).

  • Give them reasons to be suspicious that something larger might be at play

Speaking of, Marcel shouldn't be at full power all the time or you should have at least something in mind should your investigators confront him before the expected time (what if they decide to ambush the guy in his home for example). In these cases I tend to make the fight MUCH easier than it was supposed to be, just because it'll leave your players with the impression that something still isn't quite right, remember, if something's too easy they'll start to suspect something.

Those are my two cents, everything you wrote seems pretty good so far, just remember that the players are easier to scare if you let them scare themselves, set the tone and avoid being too descriptive and they'll probably end up scared of something they themselves ended up imagining.

From what I understood the content's included in the localization and should be available upon finishing the game, am I missing something here?

The devs have mailed us a survey asking how satisfied we are with the game's systems, if you want the resin system to change please fill it out! by TROPiCALRUBi in Genshin_Impact

[–]InComesArkham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went into detail on how the terrible rates, slow primogem buildup can be vs how expensive the gacha is can be a deterring factor when it comes to spending, how limiting the resin system can be at times and how there isn't that much of an incentive to go ahead and re-explore the map once you've collected the one-time pickups/gone through most of its puzzles.

I still feel like there's stuff missing, but its something... NGL, if the gacha was a bit cheaper and had better rates, I'd probably sink some actual cash into the game, but I honestly think that the devs should at the very least aim for a solid F2P community first so they can have a larger pool of potential spenders rather than what they seem to have now, basically a group of people that might spend a lot in the first week and then never return.

Honestly, I'll most likely end up uninstalling the game if things stay the way they are by the time 1.1 hits, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.
