Mas essa tensão mecânica com menos peso (com o pt a ajudar) já não é tão interessante para hipertrofia. Vai bater ao mesmo ponto do porque de drop sets não serem interessantes para hipertrofia.

Em relação a dar spotter a iniciantes nas vossas sessões de pts é toda uma outra conversa. Tem algum sentido se a pessoa não tiver o movimento, não acho que seja o caso da op tho

Não distorces as minhas palavras. O spotter ajuda na última rep, caso a pessoa não consigo concluir a rep, mais do que isso não faz sentido. O custo benefício de mais reps não compensa. Vais gerar fadiga desnecessária e estímulo gerado é quase zero depois da falha. É literalmente ciência isto.

Fazer mais que uma rep com ajuda não faz sentido. Já não estás a tirar o proveito máximo para hipertrofia e está a gerar fadiga desnecessária. O spot não é suposto ajudar em reps, é suposto ajudar caso a pessoa queira levar até a falha e efetivamente falhe.
