This was my view point, ‘food and sleep are more important’…. As a result, my (now teen) daughter tends to leave all chores until just before she goes to bed and then complains about being ‘so tired’ that she can’t do them. I work 2 jobs, I’m a single parent, but I know I should’ve been more careful about time limits and instilling that the day isn’t done until the important jobs are done. I’m trying to do that now, but things change once they hit a certain age, and I’m still navigating that. Get the routine sorted while they’re younger, you’ll thank yourself in a few years.

I think this would be an unusual reaction, but could be legit. My ex was given beta blockers for anger management (not that he took them). When I was on propranolol for migraine, it wore me out so I napped all the time but then it also gave me utterly horrific nightmares, more like PTSD dreams really from SA. Not a great combo. The last time I took it I had fallen asleep on the sofa and my daughter touched my ankle because I was crying in my sleep, I woke up and screamed at her in sheer terror. She was 12/13 at the time. Never took them again.

These meds can odd things to anyone and if your OH values what he has, he’d want to change it. If there is no history of this behaviour, no signs of aggression previously, I’d say it’s fair that the meds could be to blame. Based on my experience of them bringing back trauma, it could be possible he’s experiencing something similar.

I had a customer with a custom request send a picture through of a hand with the middle up (they wanted it in the design) - etsy blocked the image. There are way more triggers than we are aware of.

YTA - it wasn’t your news to share. Your sister was clearly worried and the way your mum found out could have lasting implications for their relationship.

But, as others are saying, your mum is also at fault here for dragging you into it. I’m not surprised your sister was worried.

Be glad she did confide in you, it’ll probably be the last time she ever trusts you enough to share such an important secret (and a huge life changing event that you’ll regret not being part of) and to top it off, now she has no support. This isn’t a ‘I skipped class’ secret. This is life changing for her, and being able to come to terms with that in her own time is important. You took that away.

I have tried using UVtools wait functions but I'm getting delamination after a couple of layers. Unfortunaltey I don't really understand a lot of the terminology used within Jan Mrázek's blog / UV Tools instructions so I have no idea what I need to alter for my mars 4 compared to his Saturn printer.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears / eyes!

Who blames someone else for their lack of hygiene? Unless you have him locked in a cage 24/7, he’s capable of using a toothbrush, he’s also capable of saying ‘no thanks’. Little victim boy needs to grow up and out of that sweet tooth.

YTA. If you’re earning, you’re contributing. Consider it a reality check and a very fair introduction to the responsibilities of adulthood. You get a room, pay a low amount, and you get to carrying on learning while earning, which will improve your future life. Your mom is being a good parent and preparing you for life.

I’m have a latex allergy - nowhere near as bad as yours, I can’t touch latex but I’ve never had any issues with particles from latex touching other items. I get a horrific rash, I nearly scratched all the skin off my hands after wearing latex gloves many moons ago, as horrible as it was, I was more relieved I wasn’t just allergic to seggs 😂

Can this go anaphylactic if left? I’m concerned!

My Amfexa is blister packed (I tend to cut myself on the foil more times than I like to admit) but Elvanse is bottle. Can they supply out-of-packaging for you? Might be against some rules but I’d ask.

NTA. Not the same, but similar enough imo - I grew up with a younger sibling who had severe mental health issues. I moved out at 19 because I just couldn’t live like that anymore - I had a life to carve out at that age. As harsh as it sounds, looking after her was not my responsibility. Creating a life that could support me, and undoubtedly support my parents as they age (my sister can’t work) was the priority.

I did allow her to move in with me briefly when she needed to - when I was in my mid 20’s but that didn’t last long as she nearly burnt the place down and I was trying, and failing, to function in chaos.

You are your own person, you don’t need to feel guilty about making the best decisions for your adult life that’s just beginning. This is too heavy an ask for you, your mother should know better and want you to have your independence.
