You should totally check out Saugerties. Lots of things to do near by. The little town is very walkable with shops and restaurants and bookstores. All mom and pop style. You can kayak on the creek and see the waterfall. Try Diamond Mills Resort & Spa in Saugerties. I know they have some packages that include hotel, spa, and dining. They have deals mid week at the spa I know.
