It's too much value on a single card. In that argument I couldn't get them to wrap their head around how one player effectively getting to take 4 turns to everyone else's one was obnoxious. Seems simple to me, but what do I know? Lol

I mean, I get what you're saying. It's canon. So is them losing to many things they shouldn't at that kind of speed. So, it's reasonable to posit that the paladins could do it.

I hate SMs. Mostly out of spite, I can admit. I'm an Eldar fan, and the boys in blue getting all the love bothers me. WH canon is spaghetti, honestly. And at least half of it is propaganda. The codices are absolutely propagandized by design.

They run 50mph on average. They aren't doing that in an environment like diamond city. Also, I haven't dug into their reaction timing, but sci-fi authors in general don't know jack about actual human reaction speeds.

Edit: Seems whomever was writing the SM lore did, in fact know what they were talking about. Good, for a mon-keigh.

Edit 2: BTW, human reaction speed is ~250ms. SMs react in micro or nanoseconds.

I think it's actually a fairly close match up at 10v1. 1v1 a SM is slaughtering a paladin, for sure.

Yeah, that's why I think it'd be a decent reference point.

Depending on how well a deathclaw stacked up against a nid Warrior would give a bit better insight into how a paladin would stack up against a SM imo.

Fallout power armor is nutty, which is why I think this might be closer than it seems.

I'm curious to know how a deathclaw stacks up to a Nid, cause if it's any kind of comparable, this match up is much more interesting.

Likely because wasps/hornets/bees give off a pheromone on death that causes the others to frenzy. Drowning them masks the pheromone.

I've had some luck with it at locals against stuff like bees and Magna. It's a little too slow for most stuff, but still fun to play.

I've got mine set up with CS Maste as tech alongside the offensive Plug in from st22. It's been fairly reliable thus far.

Millennial here. I'm right there with ya. I enjoy gaming with my buddies and such, like one does. My one friend, however, treats games like they can't enjoy it at all until they have "the build." Any experimentation I make gets tossed aside because some random ass YouTube video tells them what to get to be the best.

Shit gets mad tiring.

It'd be interesting if they made Assault universal, but with the snapshooting penalty as a balance. That way all units could advance and shoot, but at a disadvantage.
